Carthago motorhome tour! C Tourer i144LE

The vehicle is built with hail-resistant GRP and high-stability chassis with the full aluminium sandwich walls, the fully-fledged double floor and the GRP underfloor to the AL-KO low frame. Thanks to intelligent lightweight construction technology, the vehicle still has a high load capacity whilst being on a 3.5 tonne basis. The c-tourer is divided into lightweight and comfort models, the compact models up to the 699 cm long c-tourer 144 are regarded as “Lightweight”.
The c-tourer had lost more than 20 kg for model year 2022 - without losing quality or stability. The c-tourer starts at a weight of 2915 kg for semi integrated models and 2955 kg for integrated models in the ready-to-travel condition. It therefore provides plenty of load capacity for special equipment, additional passengers or luggage. Anyone who wants to reduce the weight even more can order the optional aluminium wheels and the lithium ion on-board batteries and reduce the weight of the vehicle by an additional 20 kg.
The Carthago c-tourer has a new optional designer package, consisting of the exclusive Carthago full LED front headlights, fog lights with chrome applications, the “exterior line” extended exterior decoration and the “Liner” engine hood design as a visual extension of the windscreen.
The two semi integrated c-tourer models T 145 DB H and T 148 LE H with their especially spacious lounge seating group and long side seat bench benefit from new furniture architecture in the new model year. A higher kitchen work surface provides clearer separation between the lounge seating group and the kitchen. The L-shaped lounge seating group contains a pull-out shoe cabinet which is already in use in other Carthago model ranges. The two models can also be equipped with an optional 32 inch LED flat screen.
The new standard main cabin door “premium two” has double locking for security, attractive interior panelling, a large door window and above all a clear passage width of 63 cm. The insect screen is invisibly integrated into the furniture. Central locking is optionally available for the main cabin door and the standard driver's door.
Carthago optionally provides a voltage converter from 12 V to 230 V with output of 1800 Watts in the c-tourer. In the new kitchen/coffee package, it is combined with a capsule coffee maker. As an alternative to the features provided by the basic vehicle manufacturer, new multimedia systems are now available in the cockpit. A moniceiver with a DAB+ radio and a 6.8 inch display has been introduced. The multimedia system provides top class equipment with a nine-inch display screen including navigation and motorhome route guidance as well as many other features, including a rotary knob for controlling the volume.
The model range for 2022 includes six c-tourer I Lightweight and six c-tourer I Comfort models on Sprinter and Ducato over the wide range from the compact 6.67 m long c-tourer I 141 LE to the approximately 7.61 m long I 150 QB. The range of semi integrated c-tourer T models is even more densely packed with six c-tourer T Lightweight and seven c-tourer T Comfort models on the Sprinter and the Ducato. Single beds, queen-size bed, transverse bed, compact washroom or luxury washroom, lightweight and comfort models are the choice of layouts.
