There's a B road near me with a lethal dip in it with no warning signs and is difficult to see from a distance when driving near the speed limit. I only know to slow from family telling me before I drive on that road, and that's only when it isn't avoidable, for fear of forgetting and hitting it. I've heard about cars being totaled by it and we don't have a steep embankment/hill to crash down off this road. I've hit the better side of the road at 40 mph and nearly ground out a stock Focus. The council do come along every now and then and fill in it with tar but the road is over a bog or moss area and the road just sinks again pretty soon after, a lot of heavy farm and commercial traffic use this road. I can well believe there's hidden bumps elsewhere that can do the same, and coupled with a serious slope away from the road, down which the bump could spit out the car, I can see this happening. Had the injuries not been so severe I'd go off in more detail on how speed limits and speed enforcement have nothing to do with safety and how the current level needed to pass a test in the UK is too low with much not taught properly if at all that's needed to make safe, capable drivers. I hope all involved recover completely.

If you spray a car yourself you can't use the same 2K paint that body shops unless you have an airfed full face mask, coveralls and a spray booth with good airflow and extraction system. Without that you risk causing yourself and others permanent severe respiratory problems from isocyanate poisoning. The only other option is to use 1K paint which is less durable and may or may not be petrol resistant. There are some 2K non isocyanate paints but some of them don't cure properly and remain soft. Rattle cans give an inconsistent spray especially when running low and it'd be expensive to paint a whole car like that. If your looking for a really good finish, then it's probably best to let a professional do it.

Doh!!!! Was an absolute scary hoot to drive up until that point lol. What they worth now, £40k?
