Please tell me this will not be discontinued. It is difficult to find a distinctive perfume that smells this wonderful. Cartier La Panthere EDP smells so lovely. So Luxurious! The bottle is just gorgeous. I do not notice any cheap, synthetic notes, and I do not notice much fruitiness. I do not detect any sourness or over-powering sweetness. I find it to be well balanced, soft and seductive. It is velvety, deep, soft, floral and projects an affectionate, feminine ambiance. It would not suit a high school girl, or a granny. There is absolutely no headachey or nauseating quality, and it is neither dull nor overstimulating. But it is a confident scent. It does smell expensive. And I do keep going back to smell it over and over again. It is definitely sexy. There is something very French about it.

I dig this one, because it’s timeless but it’s very 80’s at the same time, with an old book vibe dry down that oakmoss brings, funny you said the same thing I thought. a good floral chypre

Just sampled this and I am on the fence with this one also. Some things I really like (gardenia) but then there are notes that can be really headache inducing (oakmoss). That first blast is enough to choke a person.😂 I do get this luxurious, old leathery scent which I think comes from the oakmoss and rhubarb combo. I don't know if I would ever purchase a full bottle of this one. It does play tricks on me.😂

I've heard the feline floral description is supposed to be panther fur.This is one I wanted to buy for the bottle. It took thousands of errors for them to get the laser cut perfected.

Thanks! That's totally up to you. How many is your own preference because everyone's skin is different, but...where to spray? Usually pulse points like wrists, either side of the neck. Clothes is a good place too as fabric holds scent really well. Crooks of elbows is also good. :) And...if you have long hair?? A spritz in your hair is good! There are many options. :)

I guy sprayed this on my wrist after a shower. I wS like eww at 1st, but as it settled it made me feel hugged. I get visions of an older, maybe vintage Hollywood. I don't know why, but i did! I saw lilac velvet cushions, smoky upscale club. I like it a lot. All I need now is a nice man to buy me one. Lol

Brilliant review as always....Hope your doing well mate Although from the name I was expecting you to say it was dirty in a good way a sexy anamalic Fragrance.. alas its not .... its no where near that from the note breakdown .... & if it doesn't warrant a purchase from you then it must not be good ..... Cartier doesn't really do perfumes, in my opinion with the exception of "Declaration, Pasha & roadster", of course... none of their other offerings are that great huh mate, what do you think ?

+John Bernard Well II've only tried a few, so I'm not the best with this brand. I have smelled their classic "must" which to me is great but just very outdated. It's classic with not much appeal. Hmm. I hear alot about roadster too, I have never smelled it though. The one that gets the best comments is Baiser dragoni? or something? It sounds GREAT, but..alas..very hard to come by. :)

On my skin this perfume instantly reminded me of Narcisco by narciso Rodriguez, I wasn’t sure if I needed it but I want to find a gardenia-ishbased perfume for winter I’m thinking this may be it?!

I have't ya know. I think with a few good sprays it will have a decent performance. I finished my sample straight after the review. I really would like to give it a good spritz but..I haven't smelled it since doing this review hehe. Sorry!

ouch110 Fragrance Reviews This is a no for me. There is way too much gardenia in this, all I get is gardenia and rhubarb...something in it smells a little like scotch tape, lol. All in all it smells like gardenia room spray, yuk! Also, the bottle is not as pretty in person as it is in pictures.
