stuggling to save a new prop I just made. in 4, I just hit the plus sign, here, it makes you save a scene. oh i see, it saves it, but shows a picture of the whole scene it was in. I need to have a blank scene to save a prop? That isnt right.

I am practicing Cartoon Eminator. I selected Ted on G3-360 and went into the sprite edit and added a hip of a new image. Then I went to the timeline panel and simple position change animation is possible. But when I apply the animation in the template, it returns to the original hip image. Is there a solution?

You can choose to launch the character into external tools for partial modifications, or you can assemble character components to create your own unique character.

Hi... Kewl software. Contemplating getting it. Hoping there is a way to Set FrameRate to 60FPS now with KZbin having the option to upload 60FPS videos, also "gaming" monitors (High Refresh Rate) can help wow people with smoother animations.... So far, from using the Trial, is the one thing having me look for alternatives or seeing if I can wait for a newer version before taking the plunge and buying it... or, is there a way to export super smooth 60fps or even 120 fps ultra smooth videos??? A possible work around could be to make the timeline last 2x or 4x the number of frames and then use Video Editing software on a 60FSP video or a 120FPS video.... sounds like a time consuming way of achieving that.... but life could be made easier with a toggle to export 60FPS or 120FPS animation rather than use the 2x or 4x workaround......

it's not always easy and if you you're thinking about buying their character designer take note : the lips aren't often linked to the face side views and turns show the detachment and you do not always get the range of motion you want nor a tutorial on how to get there. ALSO none of their 2d CHARacters or designers INCLUDE the back of the head or good profile with parented lips so far in my experience. for what cost the backs of charcter clothing and heads should be there but aren't. SOme work is necessary and then it's not to keen on accepting custom characters.

hi, I have a question with some scenes that I would like to achieve. I am very new and currently using the trial version. My charater is holding a water bottle for example and he shakes it hard and really fast. From the cartton look, his hand and water bottle are showing up as bunch of lines ups and downs and when only he slows down, the the shape of hand and bottle come back to normal shape. How to achieve such fast moving hands look as above? I couldnt find any tutorial for that... can you share some light here?

You can try using Spring Bone in combination with Motion Pilot. It might help you achieve the effect you're looking for.

Hi, I have question, I hope you can assist me. I have my own character and it was facing to the left instead of right(like in your video). When I use an animations the movement are in reverse, even if I used flip on my character, the movement is still in reverse. how can I fix it?

We recommend using 3D motion, which allows for switching between different angles according to your character's settings. In addition to the embedded 3D motions available, you can also use the Motion Link Plugin to find more suitable motion types in iClone. hi. Is there a way to pan The view up, down, left, right, by using the scroll wheel, And using a modifier to zoom in and out? I prefer to work this way based on a setup I have in my computer, but I don't see any option to change These settings in Cartoon Animator 5. In my opinion, there should probably be an option to change hotkeys and mouse functions in the program.

Hey You guys from Reallusion really need to make a video series tutorial on how create scenes for songs like for example how to create or bring props and backgrounds to CA5. Indeed, we need to upload a new tutorial with illustrations of the latest user interface. Below are some older tutorials that explain the procedure in full, which remains the same for the latest version of CTA. These tutorials include instructions on dragging in or importing your own JPG and PNG files, as well as video and SVG files, directly into CTA for the creation of backgrounds, props, and foreground elements.
