Cartoon Network went ridiculously hard for Christmas. The holidays were unforgettable in part thanks to them.

I really do miss the 90s and 2000s back when they used to make kids look forward to the holidays like Christmas and Halloween with amazing movies and cartoon specials and let me tell you if Cartoon Network created a new channel for all the classic cartoons and program blocks it would make a whole generation of animation fans very happy.

The minute you posted clips from the CCF Holiday Special, I suddenly remember watching it as a kid, and then all the memories I had playing games on the Cartoon Network website, collecting Ctoons, and more. It’s that interactive feeling I had watching the channel that sadly isn’t as commonplace today with streaming being so popular. You reminded me how all this stuff was like a grand event and would have the kids fly by the seat of their pants!

What do “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” (1966) and “A Christmas Story” (1983) have in common? They are both under WB’s Turner Entertainment Co. Label.

So many Christmas Childhood Memories I remember watching it on Cartoon Network between ‘01 and ‘06. (I still remember The Powerpuff Girls: Twas The Fight Before Christmas and A Nutcracker Scoob from ‘03.) ANYWAYS, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAVE A GREAT 2025! 🎄😊😁

Well I grew up before the 90's but I was a kid and teenager in the 90's. I know it wasn't till 97 when we got Cartoon Network in our basic cable package. I did enjoy those first few years of the channel. But my Christmas was Nickelodeon. All the Nicktoons Holiday episodes and that one special "Christmas In Tatter Town." I know I remember watching it when it first aired and later reruns. Then there was Eureeka's Castle that had a Christmas special and I NEVER would miss it! One of my favorites from Nick Jr. But I know this channel is decacted to Hanna Barbera and Cartoon Network (but ever so often there are a few Nickelodeon shows mentioned here and there) but I did enjoy watching classics shorts on CN during the Christmas holidays and some of the new shows episodes centered around the holiday. Flintstones, Scooby Doo, Jetsons and yes the Pac-Man special too. (I do enjoy me some HB Pac-Man after all) and all the bumpers and other classic cartoons shown on the channel. I even have SEVERAL TV recordings from the Holiday Season. Always fun watching down memory lane on CN. Thanks for your video 47Cartoonguy!
