i wonder why thet stopped the whole cartoon town thing. i can think of 3 reasons 1: it became to expensive. this city is so well rendered, and beautiful. so it must have been a bitch to render and create all the commercials that were only gonna be on CN. so they had to stop cause it was costing them to much 2: they wanted to do something new. while the city was really nice and all, maybe they thought it was time for something new. while it is a city, it does limit some creative thought. not a lot, but some. 3: the shows used in the city were going off the air. this seems like the most likely thing that happened. the grim adventures of billy and mandy, teen titans, hi hi puffy ami yumi, and so on, we all slowly but surely ending. weather it be a series finale, or a cancellation. most of the show's character the were in the city, were only running reruns, if that at all. so they stopped the city so they could start fresh and have a brand new plate of originality. this is what i think anyway. not sure is there's an actual reason

Change in CEO thats all ...when this new CEO came up to control , everything was scrapped ..... toonami , boomerang and many other partnered studio cut their ties with CN . So this golden age cartoon network era was gone and now its a shitty ass network .

I agree with the first part but I hope they don’t remake these with the new cartoons, I hope they make an entire CN city movie, maybe about an evil force scaring everyone and the heroes(and maybe some villains and some side characters) saving the city, and only the characters in the era. Maybe a fan project, but it would be okay if it was by the official CN too. Edit: That won’t happen, instead we got a short special with all the old shows as statues and Ben 10 “aliens”.. dammit..
