I am a huge adventure time fan. It's honestly my favorite show. Also Rebecca sugar, who created Steven universe, worked on Adventure time and she wrote the best songs for them too. But have you seen Bee and puppycat? Did you like it

I am the HUGEST teenage mutant ninja turtles fan, but a lot of people act really concerned when I say that I don't like the original 80's cartoons and prefer the plot and style of the comics and 2003 series the most. Every adaptation is different, thats why I like them all differently. If we were expected to like all adaptations the same, they'd be exactly the same, and there would be no point. Good call Alb

One that you didn't mention but that I really enjoy is a mini series called Over The Garden Wall. The whole series is probably 3 hours long at most but it is fantastic. The art in it in terms of environments are amazingly done and all the main characters are just lovable in their own way. The story it tells is amazing and this show is definitely focused on the older audience, while still being kid friendly. The show, especially at the end gets really intense and dark. I forgot it was a kids show when I was watching it. All and all Over The Garden Wall is a fantastic mini series and I suggest everyone watch it!

I can honestly say that this is the first time I have been amazed to the point of speechlessness after watching a youtube video. I don't know how to properly describe the emotion I'm experiencing other than to say that we are two different people watching the same cartoons at the same time feeling the same feelings about them and struggling with korra at the exact same pace with the same intentions. I have don't know the word for this feeling. I'm starry eyed and breathless and completely overtaken with... whatever that word is that I cannot come up with. Cartoons are very important to me, if that wasn't clear... I'm glad this is this on the internet. I would be much too shy to say this to a person out loud because I have severe social anxiety (I've only recently come to terms with it) and would totally fear that special sort of "Oh... so I see your weird is different than mine" rejection that ends in my hot-faced shuffle-off of embarrassment, but without that rejection, I am much more excited and happy to tell you how cool I think this is without being concerned about what possible and much more minimal repercussions may come of it. Ramble ramble...

Over the Garden Wall is quite a new CN short. It only has 10 episodes but GOD THEY ARE SPECTACULAR!! Lovely dark animation, somewhat a mix of Grimm's fairytales, Studio Ghibli and Adventure Time, I'd say. And so much material for thought and theories and speculation, it's just my favourite cartoon ever! And yeah, also Gravity Falls is a neat show that I'd had to mention. And Attack on Titan anime is badass. The rest of my faves you already mentioned in the video hehe ^ ^

Gurl.... It was too adorable at moments I felt like I was going to explode. IT'S NOT FAIR IT WAS TOO SHORT! I didn't get the answers I wanted and it ended too soon D": I haven't felt this way about an anime since Kill La Kill, which is one I would recommend for anyone who's not into anime or hasn't heard of it (though getting into it can be hard at first it's well worth it in my opinion). Kill La Kill and Another+ are two anime that got me back into giving anime a chance.

I completely agree with what you are saying about not having to love everything that comes out related to a particular show, book etc. personally I am really enjoying the new sailor moon and perhaps that's because I've been reading the manga recently and it does align with the manga better but it will never touch the memories I have from being a kid and loving sailor moon more than life itself. Bob's burgers is such an excellent recommendation, it's hilarious :)

Bob's Burgers shoudld win so many awards for being an animated adult cartoon that doesn't have to rest on racist, sexist, misogynistic humor at a desperate attempt to captivate it's audience.

I am obsessed with Gravity Falls right now. Mabel is quite possibly one of my favorite characters of all time. I love her personality and the way her mind works. The episode "Irrational Treasure" probably best exemplifies why she's so amazing. Also speaking of great female characters and since you mentioned it in the video, Tina from Bob's Burgers, is another one. She's so awkward and a bit of an oddball as well, but she rocks it so well. I'm glad there are so many cartoons out there, that are breaking the mold of entertainment, especially for children and the adults who are young at heart. Although I love the cartoons I used to watch when I was younger, we're definitely seeing a revolution here.

hey Ang! as a cartoon lover I greatly appreciate this video. I totally love Steven Universe and Clarence myself! one show that I LOVE and that I think you should check out is Wander Over Yonder - it is my current fave and it is SO. GOOD. the characters are wonderfully endearing and funny, the writing is hilarious, sweet, and super duper positive, the art style and animation are goddamn gorgeous, and its first season has just finished up - so it's perfect to marathon! it's also created by Craig McCracken, in case that sweetens the pot for ya. it's pretty episodic so it may not be up your alley, but I think you'd have fun with it if you give it a try! I'd recommend the episodes The Greatest/The Egg, The Picnic/The Fugitives, The Prisoner, and The Bounty to get a taste of the core four characters' personalities. also, if you like seeing fairytales turned on their ear, The Hero is another good one. then again I'm a superfan so Im struggling to not just suggest the whole list of episodes to you ;) but yeah! thanks for talking about your fave toons!

I currently love Hulu a lot because they have the entire first generation of Sailor Moon - the Sailor Moon of my childhood. That's basically the only cartoon I watch regularly, though I do tend to get into an incarnation of Avengers from Disney XD when they're put on Netflix. Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is pretty awesome but only has two seasons. I think I actually prefer Avengers Assemble because Hawkeye, my favorite of the Avengers, has awesome one-liners and WAY more attention is paid to him. Still waiting for Kate Bishop to be in a Disney XD show.

For any video game fans, anime fans or cartoon enjoyers of all sorts, I'd recommend watching Persona 4 The Animation. P4A is brilliant. If you have played the game and enjoyed it, this is a must see. Bee & Puppycat is another one you should watch! Ahh I love your suggestions, Ang! This is pretty much what I'm watching now as well. When it comes to Korra, season 2 is pretty...yikes, but hang in there because season 3 and 4 are fabulous! (also all the Korrasami omg). And I really love your opinion on Sailor Moon Crystal especially when you say that it doesn't have to be for you. I really wish more people would have that outlook on it. Also they're touching up the animation on the episodes when they're releasing them on DVDs thankfully. Whatever brings more moonies to the fold and gives us more merchandise makes me happy (even if it makes my wallet very, very sad).

I've been super into Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, and Over the Garden Wall. I will say that I didn't give LoK much of a chance. I got to the relationshippy parts and just left. I really REALLY dislike shows that totally derail the plot to care for the relationshipy things. I don't care for love triangles and all that, I just want to see what the new Avatar has to achieve. I have heard some really good things about later episodes, though, so I'll probably give it another go. The same issue came up for me with A:TLA as well, so this is nothing new.
@SamiVloggt10 жыл бұрын
I was kinda disappointed in the whole love-triangle in book 1 as well. It gets better though! After all that drama Korra is more focused on fixing her own stuff, at least in book 3 and 4 which are awesome! You'll just have to get through book 2, which is definitely the weakest of the four. But it has the double episode with the first Avatar, Avatar Wan which explains how the avatar originated and stuff like that. Those were really cool!

Love, love, looooove Princess Jellyfish. The story is so beautiful and the relationship between the amars is something I wish I had in my real life. New Sailor Moon series is not capturing me as much as I had hoped for. The animation is odd and there's not much time spent on character development, but it's still enjoyable, and we'll always have the original. It's not going anywhere. Some shows I think you could've mentioned are Bee and PuppyCat, a fairly new show on KZbin with much potential, and Gravity Falls!! So much humor, so much good stuff, just good.

OH GOD STEVEN UNIVERSE. If there's EVER a time where i'm sad or lonely i just put on a quick 15-minute episode of SU and i'm super happy. It's the cutest show ever.

I love the Bob's Burgers animation style! In some ways the characters look ridiculous and exaggerated and in other ways they look more realistic than anything I've ever seen on TV. Those body shapes are hilarious.

I'll start watching Sailor Moon Crystal if I hear it has the characters from the manga the original anime took out. Like the butterfly scout, idk her name.
