Blitz being half succubus is still a theory, and even then, imps and succubus are visually similar enough that a hybrid wouldn't be too obvious to spot (also, his tattoo is a mark of the circus he worked at, not him being a hybrid, unless ALL imps there were hybrids, including fiz and cash). Striker on the other hand does have some visual marks of being a hybrid, his eyes have rings like loan sharks and reptile demons from greed, his tail has large spikes/plates no other imp has, and his tail makes a rattlesnake noise, implying he may be half reptile demon from greed. Also, blitzes tattoo is a tattoo, it's black, millies brother is a skar tattoo, as it is white, the color of imp skars, so the tattoos those 2 have aren't with the same method.

Probably why she's so sleepy all the time. She probably works tirelessly and uses the medication on others to buy herself time to get a quick snooze. The fact that she can't seem to stay awake in the court looks like the condition of someone who worked 80 hours straight without a break and when she finally clocked in for the weekend to rest, Satan called her to court. (though given it was her own demons who arrested Blitz, maybe she's mad at him for being the reason her sleep was interrupted OR they arrested him on behalf of thier master's sleep being interrupted and felt so bad for her, they took it out on Blitz)

Honestly, before Mastermind i didn’t care above belphegor i thought it would be my least favourite out of all the sins.... but nkw after that episode, she is probably my favourite helluva boss character, and yet she hasn't even said anything. What can i say they really got me with that design. Thanks to the fanon, most people thought she was going to be some broad shouldered office lady with a diamond shaped head who ran her pharmacy like a "business elite", which yeah would've turned a lot of people off. Though given Leviathan's design was also changed at the very last minute to make her more appealing. Viv might just be trying to appeal to the general demographic so she can sell more merch. Ozzie and Mammon are odd but have such vivid personalities and stories that they're popular by how they act, but Viv seemed to know she could get a lot more out of Bel and Lev by giving them interesting and attractive designs even if they're not planned to say or do much. just to complete the circle. Similar reason why she made Bee a furry and sure enough, besides Loona, Bee is one of the most popular characters and her merch sells like hotcakes. Really smart of Viv to just play to the audience's interests instead of trying too hard to be "lore accurate". In fact that makes ALL the sins "Anthros" except Lucifer who's somewhat humanoid (though meant to be a goat as well just like Charlie), and Mammon who's an anthro Christmas tree, but has the face of a shark anyway.

I do hope they pull in the whole inventor angle somehow, as Belphegor's thing is inventing things so he can laze around all the time so having her be sleepy because she's otherwise inventing/more interested in inventing things would be fun, especially since its such an lesser known aspect that people associate sloth with general sleepiness

@@sarafontanini7051 Likely where the pills and machines and medicines come in. I also see Bel as a telepath, who communicates with her mind a lot. All the baphomets who live in her ring just "know" what she's thinking at any time because that's how she tells them what to do and where to go. The mini pin merch of her shows her main eyes closed and her forehead eye looking to the side curiously, so I have a feeling those eyes aren't just for show, but reflect the fact that through her dreams, she is extremely aware of what's going on. Maybe the eyes dotted all over the rings are HER eyes? and how she knows who needs medical attention or not so she already has something ready for them when they arrive, thus less work for her and thus more chances for her to sleep or rest.

​@@Infindoxya know I actually did have this one theory unfortunately it's been debunked. In it. Bel was a gamer girl shut in who was always hopped up on drugs to keep her awake and wired but was too invested in videogames to really do her job. That's why she appointed someone else to do it for her. But the later part may definitely be true. If Bel is simply too tired to do her job she may be more like Magellan from One Piece. Magellan is a poison man. He ate the venom venom fruit. Unfortunately his belief in his power has led him to eat a crap ton of poisonous food which then in turns gives him diarrhea. Anyways. Magellan sleeps eight hours a day, spends over five hours on the toilet, and the remaining four hours are when he actually works. But while he's pooping the staff of Impel down run the prison on his behalf. This includes the Vice Warden, the head jailer, and the beast master Belphagore probably has the exact same setup bc she sleeps so much due to her narcolepsy. Her staff handles most of her work. But in urgent cases they pump her full of drugs to keep her awake long enough to do her job effectively and then let her crash when she's done. Bathomet is probably the one who handles her work.

@@Infindox Well that's kind of true as Asmodeus was deuced by Crimson and Striker and couldn't do anything about it but file a lawsuit. Honestly there's limited evidence to how "powerful" the sins are though. The closest we see is Mammon attempting to crush Fizz (who doesn't budge an inch) before Ozzy shows up and fights him off. and it's widely believed if Loona and Bee actually fought, Loona would've held her own pretty well (though it's clear Bee wasn't intending on fighting, just scolding Loona as she immediately felt bad for getting "spicy" and apologized for almost causing a scene.) We only see Lucifer fight in full power and he's practically mocking Adam the whole time. So maybe they do have the genuine power to wipe out everyone with a snap of thier fingers, but I guess Ozzy didn't want to risk having Fizz be killed or hurt because he hunted Crimson and striker down. Also Satan does have a little imp who's job is to keep him calm so he doesn't accidently act out of hand when he gets enraged. If they truly were as omnipotent as implied, there clearly is a limit to the powers akin to getting in a fist fight with the CEO of Microsoft.

Then waking up and realizing her items despawned and she has to get more wood, but doesn't seem to mind playing at her own pace. Tons of half punched trees surround her and several creeper holes all over and a few placed blocks implying she tried to build a house once...and the timer claims she's been playing that world for 12 years straight.

I think many people don’t understand how important Belphagor be. For HH universe as well So we know a lot of medicaments are made in Sloth ring, and many hospitals are located there. Plus, Blitz wanted to get Loona shot in Sloth knowing how good healthcare is there from other rings, proving both “Blitz wants the best for his daughter” and “Sloth has best hospitals” And we have Charlie. She’s very active, I’d even say hyperactive, impulsive, it’s difficult for her to organise plans and stuff. Her dad, Lucifer, daily forgets stuff, somethings unable to concentrate at one thing, and also hyperactive Seems like adhd, right? Well, we know that Charlie has Beplhagor in her phone as a contact, meaning these two met for sure + werr talking on the phone. And referring back to my suggestions that Charlie has adhd, we can assume that Charlie called Belphagor to ask for some pills or stuff to help her I know it’s just a theory, but it kinda makes sense? Also from Hell’s pov ( if we can see that ) its funny that even Sin of Sloth came to the court and the king of hell just doesn’t care

My theory is that Belphegor could be one of hells top therapists as well, which would make her a shoe in for being Charlie's main contact. That might evne explain why Charlie is cheerful all the time, it's because The has a 40,000~ year old therapist who knows her profession in almost every way so Charlie might have some of the top coping methods known to life. But she could also be Charlies reason for trying to help others as well. Angel and Husk are both addicted to substances and you'd naturally want an amazing physician on dial who can tell you what to do when things get really bad.

The fact that Blitz tried to take her to the hospital for her shot the moment he adopted her, as he adopted her at 17 (almost 18) and she's now about 23 years old. He said "the wait list was 5 years". Just something of interest. as for the therapist thing, gosh I'd love to see segments where Belphagor listens to every character talk about their problems, especially Loona who we know the least about because of everyone else overshadowing her.

Perhaps Belphegor was, at one stage, just an ordinary demon, given how closely her design matches those of the demons in her ring. It could be possible she was born with the gift of prophecy through sleep or otherwise and overthrew the original Belphegor, who was more goblin-like. Guided by her prophecies, she may have eventually desired more power for herself, like the other sins. This could have led her to turn to sleep medication to receive more prophecies at an increased rate, aiding her in managing her ring to ensure its growth in power, even if only in small ways. Hence, this may explain the hypersomnia state we see in the show.

She's clearly struggling to stay awake when someone accidentally wakes her, trying to hold herself above the desk and her eyes often quivering. Part of me REALLY wishes Bee would pat her on the back in a "It's okay, sleep my little angel sis." at least once during the episode. I know they don't always see eye to eye, but... Bee was willing to put her name on the line to defend Blitz despite being disgusted by HIS behavior at her party. XD Edit: Nah...upon seeing the clip where she faceplants, Bee and Ozzy both look annoyed at her. as if saying "....seriously?" I guess they know each other better than we do. You learn a lot about who people are by how others react to them and while Bee admitted she doesn't have the best relationship with Bel, kind of interesting seeing Ozzy also seems unconcerned about her passing out.

Given her design was "last minute", I have a feeling when Viv decided to give her two heads, one was designed after Glitz/Glam and the other based on Ronaldo. I don't see it as laziness though, I think there's probably something clever hidden in there, but Viv stated herself that she hadn't finalized her (at the time HIS) design yet and it was as recent as last month that she still was trying to figure out a design for "him". But given she's big on selling merch after every episode, making her attractive like this was a good call. as glitz and Glam are also extremely popular and sell very well.

I talked about this on Ayy Lmao’s video on Belphegor that she could also be based off of the Lamb of Revelation. I got the idea from Lockstin’s video about his Fakemon Ultra Beasts based on creatures from the biblical apocalypse. The Lamb of Revelation is a sheep with seven eyes and a pair of horns, or sometimes even seven horns. The other inspiration is from Mamitu, the Mesopotamian goddess of fate and destiny who often takes the form of a sheep as well as the ram Aries from the Zodiac

Cartoon Universe. If you will be doing video about the "Wraiths" - as you called them later, here some details I found. While aresting IMP the soft voiced one that reads the order and then oficialy arrests them in the car is called "REAPER" in subtitles, the other 2 that spoken are called "GUARD1, GUARD2" - the 1 is the screeming one, and the second is the one with slightly feminine voice. + There is the executioner, he does not spek, but is wearing diffrent robes and has flame above head. My favourite sins will always be Bee and Asmodeous. And if I may just go on a theorising rant for a moment about the seating in the courtroom. So Lucifer is at the top, highest chair. Then I like to think that he chose where the others sat/sit. I imagine Luci wanted Bel, Bee, and Ozzie closest to him because they seem like the only sins who are genuinely trying to make Hell a decent and fair place to live for hellborns (e.g. fair and equal treatment in Sloth, anyone invited to Bee's parties, everyone welcome in Lust). Then he might've sat Levi and Mammon below the previous three because they could be more discriminatory/unfair (Mammon definitely is discriminatory, sexist, etc), and Levi we don't know but it's a possibility. Finally, Luci could've wanted to sit Satan the furthest away to a) keep Satan's wrath away from him, b) he's annoying af with his lies, and c) because Luci made Satan the judge of the court so needed a judge-like chair in front of the accused position where Blitz and the rest of I.M.P were. Also, anyone else notice the angelic-like eyes on Belphegor's neck? They look similar to the eyes that appear on Sera and Emily when they're mad

There's so much bullsh8t fanon out there that is preached as fact, but at best they're HEAVY misinterpretations of SCREENSHOTS of the episodes and at worst, complete fabrications of what happened based on what some zealous fan fiction writer wrote. People said SO many horrible things about Loona back then, to the point of wanting to literally beat and abuse her cause they thought she was "ungrateful and disobedient". but even as early as the first episodes, AND LITERALLY HER VOXTAGRAM POSTS prove that's not true at all. she's literally just "BORED" at work, but they take her screaming "I wish you never adopted me!" in Spring broken as if that's describes her whole character, and completely ignore the fact that she apologized immediately after and just spoke out of line because of Blitz being overly protective, which Blitz acknowledges and begrudgingly leaves her alone. They also assume she was way out of pocket in Queen Bee and Western Energy, but Viv keeps emphasizing she KNOWS Bee signed her adoption paper and Loona HATES the fact that hellhounds are treated as pets, and she admitted Western energy was just meant to be cute but clearly missed the mark given how upset people were.... So believe me, YOU and ME both.... I really REALLY hate the fanon trying to see or invent the worst in these characters because they REALLY want this show to be a hate fic due to thier own insecurities. it's a complex show... for ADULTS for a reason. not just the swearing and sex jokes, but the really complex relationships the characters have that frankly teens and kids (and homebodies) are incapable of deciphering accurately.

Just pointing out the fact the depiction of Baphomet as a goat-like entity only came around during the 1970s. Prior to that they were merely seen as an angelic spirit of balance and order worships by a christian order of knights who once called the temple mount their base of operations during the one of the many Crusades.

If Baphomet is a separate character, then my theory is that because Belphegor is too lazy, drugged up, and sleepy to run her own Ring, she's been delegating to Baphomet. Eventually the natives and even Belphegor started to look more like Baphomet, gaining their head candles due to Baphomet's influence....

But it seems you're doing well otherwise. I almost feel like since indie animators often don't wnat to deal with big networks controlling thier product, they should try to find ways to collaborate together like the team that made early Cartoon Cartoons did in the 90s with the "What a Cartoon" series. That may be a solid way for smaller indie animators to get much needed attention without the overhead controlling thier product. Sadly it's just too competitive.

Aww, Belphegor is so sweet. Little sleepy sheepy. She's so precious. Not my favorite sin, that will always and forever be Bee, but she is solidly second. For a long time I had this idea that Bel was basically a hikkikomori, an almost complete shut-in, sequestered in her laboratory making drugs, and this buff, gruff, biker bad boy bapho gave orders and basically ruled in her place. But eventually he would go in and gentle her up, encourage her to eat a meal, take care of herself, practice some mindfulness. Basically hulking good boyfriend, kind of what Yogirt is to Satan but explicitly dating, not just heavily implied. Which is funny, because Yogirt appears to be a bapho-incubus, chill and seductively charismatic.

Hehe when you mentioned the pun on Belphagor being a sheep, I was immediately thinking of Beelzebub resembling a bee despite the fact that the original Beelzebub wouldn't have been written about with modern english "Bees" in mind. Though on that note, the more I watch this show and think of Viv's words about it, the more I think about it as literally a modern "reinterpretation" of those ancient stories entirely the same way those ancient stories were originally written. Only instead of depicting the denizens of hell as "evil", they're more so a force of nature who for better or worse may not explicitly be "evil" but trying to achieve some kind of goal or make the most of thier eternal lives the same way we do on Earth, only with a far more cynical perspective since Hell still represents the worst half of life. Literally more a yin yang perspective rather than the often "black and white" perspective most people take. As such, despite the negative connotations of the deadly sins, there seems to be a hint that what they're trying to do IS meant to be positive, but we as humans know that too much of a particular thing can lead to unintentional negative outcomes. We see this with Ozzy who for the most part shows off lust as a positive trait to keep people happy and enjoying all the exotic fetishes, and since humans are always looking for that "escape", we see them subcumb to Verosika's singing and even show up at her "halloween parties". What's interesting of note about Asmodeus's "Lust" is that it never really is depicted as harmful in the show. In fact, the opposite happens where Millie and Moxxie are chastized for appearing to have "safe, normal, missionary love making" which Asmodeus finds boring and elitist. Kind of ironic how the guy who's trying to get everyone to dive into fetishes for pure sexual gratification calls out the hypocracy of the people who chastize those fetishes as "sinful" because of "made up rules" that most people would associate with evil anyway. On a similar note, Beelzebub is the kindest of the sins, caring the most about her people and wanting everyone to be happy and by extension, loyal to those they live with. However she seems oblivious to the conditions that come from these "parties" like Loona's upbringing, where despite Loona bitterly scorning her for enabling her terrible childhood situation, Bee seems to either constantly dismiss it as "That was then, but you're better now" or tries to comfort her by admitting she's just as awkward as Loona is, with Loona ultimately giving up. I keep interpreation Loona's rage against Bee not as jealousy (like most people see) but rather as an affront to Bee trying to tell Loona to check up on Blitz as if she's responsible for his well being. The fact that Loona chastizes her for being loved so much and when Bee gets offended and tries to tell Loona off, Loona stands her ground, only changing her mind when she sees Vortex is upset about the two fighting, then she quietly decides to leave with a confused Bee looking at Vortex and realizing what she looked like, apologizing to him as well and swearing her intentions were pure. Based on some concept art of Bee and Vortex, where Bee screams a popular modern phrase incorrectly, Vortex corrects her, and she's then seen making out with him. It seems that she leans on Vortex to know how to treat others so that she can avoid offending them as she's trying to become a better person herself (since based on Loona's reactions, she's VERY bad at reading others emtions and tends to speak without considering what others are feeling, likely because she's so used to being worshipped and never really gets challenged, but Loona clearly was the first person to directly challenge her...or maybe second as she heavily trusts Vortex who also tends to correct her). But what really seals it is when she was singing Cotton candy and made many allusions to "The sun and sky" and had an expression as if she wanted to be free to see the land above, but as she can't, she herself has to BE that sun and sky for the hellhounds. She makes her home look like a bright sunset villa with tons of tropical trees. and her non-canon human form drawn by staff depicts her as south american. Often known for the bright tropical beaches and settings. So with all that said, it's likely the other sins feel the same way. They aren't trying to ruin humans (except maybe Satan, but he probably has an ulterior motive as well that makes him somewhat sympathetic, like using the wars as an excuse to kill all the bad, bloodthirsty humans, as Blitz and Moxxie explicitly refuse to kill any humans who aren't "evil" as we saw in Cherubs, where they could've at any time killed Loopty's partner, but only leaned towards it when he proved he was still sinful (as if they did so while he had good or innocent intentions he'd have gone to heaven, but they also get upset when it seems an innocent is killed, even if they have no qualms killing). So rather than seeing the Deadly sins as "appearing sweet but secretly evil" we might turn our thinking around and see them as "Trying to do the right thing, but the lure of sin leads to the evil if unchecked." Like Belphy may be extremely tired because she works tirelessly to keep all the hellborn alive and even people alive and as such has no time for herself to rest, so she relies on drugs to keep people happy and distract them from their pain so she can sleep. She doesn't have ill intent at all, it's just the "best" solution for her own health. She DID afterall lock up the drugs so Bee couldn't steal them for her parties. but I think it's less "steal" as in sneak in and more "steal" as in take without getting permission, since Bee probably saw Belphagor sleeping when she tried to ask and since it took so long for Bel to wake up and give them to her, she just "took them" herself and assumed she didn't need to ask, causing Bel to get angry when she finally noticed they were gone and lock them up and call Bee out for just assuming "because they're sisters, she can just take what she wants". The only one who seems explicitly "bad" is Mammon, but Mammon seems to care the least about what happens on earth and is kind of "Too dumb to live" in most cases as he literally lives in his own head.

Sound like we will need an update on why sinners are so important to hell?, and where they fit in the hierarchy? compared to the past. I'd be interesting if Viz's hell actually has 9 rings instead of just the 7, with them being far more dangerous/chaotic/primeval then those above. Like there seal off because even the 7 sin's can't deal with what's down there.
