Funny thing is that when you look back, Kyle's idea of "just defending" was actually pretty smart, because if he played his cards right with this idea it could have been very amazing He could fortify both upper Jupiter and the little asteroids borders, this wouldn't make him win the game but make it definitely way more harder for cartoonz to approach his territory (and if squirrel didn't betrayed the truce for pettiness he could have done the same, and made the game at least seemed more "competitive" instead of just "Cartoonz just won" + they could have trade territory for cards and if dice luck was on their side, made cartoonz at least sweat a little) Edit: also i don't mean to offend no one (it was fun to watch regardless) just posting my opinion

balanced blitz isnt cheating or an auto-win. if you have 10 and they have 2,the odds of you losing are pretty slim so the game determines you might lose one troop, so you win the space with 8 left(always have to leave one troop on your attacking space). if you dont want it,just use true random in the settings and blitz isn't an option.

The blitz dice is not different than the regular dice. What the blitz dice does is automatically roll the dice in a systematic way. It also helps you lose less troops if you do use blitz. Lets say your controlling an army of 4 troops against an army of 1 troop. If you use the blitz dice on the 1 troop it is 100% that you defeat that army of 1 troop. It runs every scenario of how you can take over that one piece of territory and the AI decided that you always won everytime. Basically its pretty much the shortcut version. And also when your attacking you might want to use the slider in the bottom right and go left until you see at the top of your screen it says 100%. Helps you lose less troops that way. Hope you play again and maybe stumble on this. Wishful thinking. Edit: Forgot to mention that there are different gamemodes like zombies capital conquest etc. As well as different card modes like fixed(yhe one you guys played) and progressive cards which makes the cards more valuable when each person trades them in. Lets say the cards worth of troops is 2 and kyle traded them in. Now they are 4. And thats for everyone and not for anyone on particular. It just keeps progressing. Again I hope you play more risk. ❤ Edit 2: forgot the feature that you can increase the timer to 2 mins if you want. (Im watching the video as I comment sry) Edit 3: I guess when I say "it helps you lose less troops" I was referring to only when you use the slider properly. If you use blitz like how cartoonz used it in the video then think of blitz as a faster roll without the animation. Grossly oversimplifying it. If you need a proper explanation watch KillPeteStrategy on "how blitz dice works", he explains Waaayyyy better then What I could ever do. [sorry I couldn't explain it any better if you still didn't understand :( ]

So how blitz works (roughly, idk the exact maths), when you have I believe 2x or 2.5x more troops than the enemy territory, blitz will reach 100% success rate. When blitz says you have 100% chance, you WILL take that territory. However, that doesn’t determine how many troops you will lose. What determines how many troops you will lose is the slider at the bottom. The slider controls how many troops you will send into battle. So if you have like 40 troops attacking a 10, you can move the slider so that just enough troops reach 100% on blitz get sent to take the territory, which perseveres whatever troops you didn’t send. If you wanna make of more y’all’s style, just don’t move that slider at all and that can still make those big oh fuck moments where you lose big, but also make the game faster and allow you to make bigger moves during your turn. Also, side note. There are 2 mechanics to note. When you get to 5 cards, you are forced to trade in for troops. And when you kill a player, you take their cards. If the cards you took are enough to reach 5 cards, you are forced to trade mid turn, also extending your turn timer (you can also kill multiple players a turn for a massive turn). That allows you to do a whole bunch of fun stuff, especially with bigger lobbies. Whether you make a huge push or come a back from a shitty position.

Blitz just speeds rolls it, it isn't an instant win. It gives you what your statistical chances are of victory, but does not have heightened chances of win or loss. It's really just a: "So you don't have to hit the button constantly." You can also select how many troops you want to attack instead of going with all of them in a blitz.

So Cartoonz. You may or may not read this but i have a theory. So my guess is that for every 3 territories you own, you gain a troop. Because early in the video Kyle had 12 territories so that was 4 troops, but because he had lower and upper Jupiter, he gained 10 because both gave 3 extra. Same with Squirrel who had 18 territories but had the moons and the satellites. He was going to get 6 but the moons gave 4, and the satellites gave 3 so he got 13. I really hope you read this because then if you do another video of Risk, you'll know roughly how many troops you'll get per amount of territories and bonuses. Great video. I enjoyed watching it.

Balanced blitz is designed to make things like losing a 20vs1 impossible even though in a truly random turn of events it could happen. Its more so to make the game more fair and id love to see them actually use it

The Kingdom of Toonz always wins because the Republique de la Kyle is either being a chicken shit and defending when he should be attacking or is being a dumbass and attacking wildly in all directions like a barbarian, and the Squirreldom of the Dead just betrays people at the wierdest and, more often than not, most inopportune moments, almost at complete random and then the two spend the rest of the game taking turns pissing on each other while Toonz builds up his armies and conquers.
