Been playing Worms since back in the late 90s. Worm Select needs to be used at the beginning of your turn, before moving or using any other items. It lets you pick a different worm (on your team) to go instead of using the normal rotation order.

@@MunkeyCC83 You can change the settings in most of the games where you select worm at the start of your turn. This is different than the worm select "weapon" that you can use at any time. Either way moving with your chosen worm disables the selection process.

The reason the keyboard controls for this game seem so strange is because its the same control scheme as the original Worms, which was on Amiga and DOS. And back then, we didn't have any kind of standardized control scheme for any games. It was more common to have things like J for jump and S for shoot, instead of anything ergonomic. So instead of having something like WASD and Z X and C, like a modern game would use, Worms used arrow keys, and spacebar, enter, and backspace. And they have kept it the same ever since. Luckily, in W.M.D., you can rebind everything if you want so its easier to remember. Also, a tip: You can use the number keys to set your grenade fuse timer. If you had set the fuse shorter, it would have helped with those last couple banana bomb throws. The Holy Hand Grenade is the only one that you can't change, because it only explodes once it stops moving.

After you activate your Jetpack you can open up your weapon list and pick a drop-able. TNT, Nade, holy etc. Press jump to drop it. This will give you unlimited fuel to jetpack away. You can also do the same thing when hanging from a ninja rope.

Cartoonz! If you get a chance, set the game mode to custom and have it set up for just banana bombs. Lol. You can set the infinite amount on them, and turn everything else off. I think there is a setting about allowing it at turn 1 as well, because I think the banana bombs are set for round 3 and up. It's been a while, so I could be misremembering some of the rules. Anyways, it's so stupid fun/funny. Since the banana bombs can be a bit unpredictable, you can't aim at anyone close to yourself or you will doom yourself, I have had bounces ignore where I threw it and absolutely destroyed half of my own team... it is so fun.

24:34 jetpacks are operated by clicking the fire button once then using the left joystick(or wasd for keyboard) to control your flight, keep in mind to both: NEVER hold the fire button to initiate the jetpack nor press the fire button during flight(the jump button will become a secondary fire button so you can drop a grenade class weapon then fly away with the rest of your fuel)

Someone needs to tell Cartoonz not to hold X when in jetpack and vehicles. In vehicles you press X to fire, pressing it again cancels the shots and ends the turn. With a jetpack, you press X to equip it and you DO NOT Hold or press it again until you have landed or want to unequip the jetpack. Also with the jetpack equipped, you can also equip things like dynamite and landmines and press the JUMP button to use and fly away. But the best advice I can give you is DO NOT HOLD buttons other than directional, it screws you over.

for the jetpack problem, the problem is that you are holding the activation button. You only need to press it once to activate the jetpack, otherwise, holding down the button can accidentally deactivate and reactivate it, making you consume another jetpack again and again, or kill your worms
