Nazrul sangeet has wide varieties. No other songs have such variations. Aamir Khasroo introduced Ghazal in Indian music. Nazrul is the first who introduced Ghazal in Bengali songs. Hats off to the Bidrohi kobi.

বাঘমুন্ডি পাহাড়ের সঙ্গে মহুয়া বনের সম্পর্ক নিবিড় ।তবে তিতাস নদীর দূরত্ব হাজার কিলোমিটার । বাঘমুণ্ডি অঞ্চলের সাধারণ মানুষ হয়তো তিতাস নদীর নামই জানে না ।তাই এ অঞ্চলের লোকগানে তিতাস নদীর উল্লেখ কী করে এলো ;প্রশ্ন থেকে যায় ।তবে গানটি শুনতে অসাধারণ।

Pronunciation: In the first song, my kudos to the singers for the sincere effort to pronounce in rural ('Adibasi') accent, but a common flaw is present. Many Bengalis, particularly the city-dwellers, apparently cannot distinguish between 'র' and 'ড় '. There are several examples in this song also: 'আমরা' has become আমড়া; 'শাল পিয়ালের' has become 'শাল পিয়ালেড়'. There were many Santaal families where we lived; I never heard any of them pronounce 'র' as 'ড় '. Nice singing, anyway.

The Video starts with: "सारेगामा कारवाँ में रोबीन्द्रसंगीत". Two major blunders there: - 1st one about the Language. Why use "खिचड़ी" Language for a Collection of purely Bangla Songs? -2nd one is about the Content. There is no Rabindranath in this Collection. Every Bengali Song is not a "रोबीन्द्रसंगीत" Request, please be more careful with the Scripts.
