thank you so much! This is such a fun and easier way to build a dungeon, I usually started room by room and get overwhelmed easily. Keep making Talespire content! Just subscribed !

And you said it perfectly. It’s easier than building walls. I hate building walls especially if in the end some walls just don’t line up with each other. This technique also makes it easier if you want to do one level up or down

Thank you! So glad you liked it! I'll definitely be publishing more content soon. Just dropped a map on TalesTavern where I tried out some new things. :-)

I like the reductive style of building where you're removing content to build the environment. That can be a good approach for underground/dungeon style settings.
@lemuriansettler11 ай бұрын
Thanks! It has it's uses. :-) It's also a lot of fun when you're building castles and fortresses.

Let's go more talespire content! Would love for you to review the Symbiote DM screen i just released! Your feedback really helped in the design!
@lemuriansettler Жыл бұрын
Yes! Just saw it! I don't DM any games, but I've been wanting to share more about what symbiotes are available and whatnot. Is it 5e specific, do I understand that right? And what's the part about being able to use google docs in it?
@rogerfoster8020 Жыл бұрын
@lemuriansettler6468 Yes, it is specifically for D&D 5e. Though I'm working to make it editable so you could change it for other systems. If you provide it a Google docs share link, it will provide a viewer in the Symbiote for your Google docs. Like session notes for example.

Great vid! Though next time you should check you audio settings, just turn up your microphone volume a lil bit more!

Next vid will be turbo boosted. :-) I've switched to Adobe Rush for editing since they allow for timelapses and audio enhancements. Any thoughts on what I should cover next? I have too many ideas I want to pursue.

List your ideas on a Tierlist and choose the ones you like the most! I personally enjoy everything as long as it's not redundant. Perhaps giving close analysis on your builds that you did in the past? @@lemuriansettler

2,000 hours into TaleSpire and I'm still discovering new stuff. Thank you brother!

the problem with this is each tile needs to be rendered, unlike videogames which "invis" sections which are unseen to save on texture memory.. in short your map will lag less powerful pcs
@GHBOIDS Жыл бұрын
to be fair though...talespire basically runs on a potatoe. This is nothing.

Yeah, I wouldn't use this method for large maps. I'm running this on a 8 year old laptop without lag. In fact I've never seen any of my maps lag, but I think that's because I don't have the stamina for truly massive maps. 🙂
