I’m a long time vectric user and I’m enjoying Carve co. They both have positives and negatives. One thing I don’t understand about carve co is why you have to offset lines with a relief in order for your bit not to cut into a vector line. In vcarve if you tell it what bit your using and select cut inside a vector it automatically stops half the diameter of the bit away from the selected line. Is there a reason for this? Or is that just something not available in carvco maker vs pro?

If you were to use a 1/4" shank 1/16" tapered ball nose for texture.... how would you set up the offsets??

Use the bottom cutting diameter. The side wall will obviously have a taper on it using that tool. Or alternatively, you could run a Profile pass around the inner edge to remove the taper and then create the texture toolpath.

Then the texture toolpath won't be as closer as expected to the wall and edge text..... however I have learnt a lot from you ,,thanks.....

Hello Vernon mentioned to me that you might have a video that shows how to do a 3D family name sign with the Tiling process. I have someone wanting me to make a sign that is larger than my CNC, I would appreciate any information how to do that. Thank you for your help. .
