Interesting demo. I have the LB75 just like that and it only has 4 knobs. Thanks for showing the differences!

Carvin basses rock, I have a LB40 with a Kalher wammy, and had a Purple translucent LB76 that I had made in 1995. I wish I would have kept it!!

You can never go wrong with a Carvin bass. Yes they are quite well made, and can be compared to many basses that cost 2-3 times as much and still sound better or just as good as their more expensive counterpart. The sound quality is very good. A lot of bassist want to dismiss Carvin because they cannot be bought in the store unless you're California (and that 's a major drawback),but they make up for it in quality, sound and price. I happen to own a custom LB75 and believe me its 'CUSTOM' too!!! When you really look at Carvin is one of the few 'true custom shops' a around. Its not a stock instrument with a few additions, its a true custom instrument that you put together to your specs, Yes there is a core instrument where you start, but the rest is up to YOU. Besides,Carvin has been in business for over 70yrs.when most of the high end makers weren't even born. Just my opinion.

How did you get a fretless Carvin LB76? Did you convert it?

Carvin can make good, consistent stuff, but the company is a mess. Good souls but WAY to many orders and not enough people.

practicing with the metronome does not hurt, anyway a nice bass ;-)
