Pretty amazing - one min he’s cutting small tiny pieces to shape one section, and then the next he’s cutting huge chunks of wood off the handle 😮 - truly an expert at the craft!

Great video, of an artistic endeavor. What a coincidence to find this one day after I ordered a “spoon-carving for idiots” and two days after subscribing to Dylan’s channel! What type of wood was it? Here in Shimoda I have a lot of beech and citrus (orange) which seem like they would be great for this pastime.
