Very informative video! It looks like a small bar is the way to go for sign posts? I think the one in the video is a 12 incher?. I'm about to purchase my first chainsaw. I wanted to start simple with signs. I was planning on getting the Stihl MSA 200 for some flexibility when I move on from signs but that's a 14 inch bar. Awkward for this type of stuff? Thx for the help.

depends on youre strength an budget ,, an all around pro saw for small carvings echo cs 361 p or cs 2511 wes or cheap echo 310.. but all saws should be converted to carving saws .. meaning you need a sprocket change and carving bar and new chain. takes some work but it will last lng time
