One of the good things about finding a channel later is there is plenty older stuff to watch between the new stuff. I just started a similar carving of my old military unit as a gift for a friend moving into my old job in that unit. Much simpler than this. Gives me confidence I can do it. Thanks Clint.

Hey thanks very much! I think anyone can get into wood carving, as long as you challenge yourself you'll improve. The same as any discipline I suppose. Good luck!

Absolutely amazing Clint, brilliant job mate. That's as good as, if not better than, plenty of professional carving work I've come across. You've come a long away. Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely Fantastic Clint 😊 I really like the method for holding the work as I'm sure it can be a real challenge when carving delicate pieces. You must be really pleased with it as must your Dad and the regular practice has paid off with excellent progress and results 😊 Keep on carving. I look forward to watching your next one. Blessings to you all there 😊 ॐ

Thanks so much Chris! The practice certainly makes things go faster but I need more practice, well... I guess we always need to more practice to keep improving! I hope you have a great new year!

What an amazing project! I just watch a whole series (over Christmas) of Restauration Home, Brick to Brick and Restauration man. By the standards of the people in that trade, your carved Coat of Arms is something special and unaffordable... there's a future there!

Blooming great piece of work Clint 👍🏻 l’ii certainly try to catch you on twitch if I ever get the right day 😂 another way to hold down your work is to use masking tape on your board and another on your work piece and then glue with superglue, super strong and then just peels off with little/no scraping required. Cheers Steve
@ClintRoseCarving5 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot Steve! Ahhh yes I've seen that method before, maybe I'll do that next time thank you Steve.

Clint, I installed twitch hoping to do some binge watching. I find you ok, but there's nothing on your coat of arms...
@ClintRoseCarving10 ай бұрын
Oh no the coat of arms carving was a long time ago, Twitch only keeps videos for about a month I think before they get deleted Unless this is a clever joke and I've missed something hahaha
