Nah definitely not De cat. I had f90 too. My mate has a de cat and pop way louder than that one. This f90 sounds like mine I had back box mod to open sound up. Plus the early ones 2019 and 20 do pop and bang a bit. Later ones they tweaked maps to loose that sound. But de cat definitely not it’s night and day difference in sound v loud and not that nice a sound to be honest.

Mind you, the G90 is slightly bigger than the G11 BMW 7 Series of ten years ago. There's a reason they carved a '5' into the B-pillar of the new 5 Series. It's so people won't mistake it for BMW's current full-size sedan.

I don’t mind the G90. Sure it’s heavy and hybrid but at least it’s still an M5 with that incredible V8 and also not an ugly monstrosity like a lot of BMW’s recently. Also, the F90 has always been a devastatingly fast car, so for the G90 to be about the same isn’t that bad, and certainly doesn’t make it slow. I think the F90 is going to be a proper legendary M-Car like the E46 and E60. At least BMW aren’t doing a Porsche and putting ‘turbo’ badges on EVs and calling it ‘traditional’. No Porsche, it’s just dumb and a little desperate.
