Thanks for all the comments guys. I’m Sam the guy doing the driving. I have seen a lot of comments of why do in the wet? Conditions are irrelevant if both the cars are in the same conditions. The wet is an absolutely amazing challenge and also shows the difference in chassis dynamics. When a car is under load it behaves totally different in the wet to the Dry. A couple Of comments about me missing apex’s 😂 I was infact taking apex’s but they were what is commonly known as the wet line. We take a wider line to reduce the amount of steering angle which let’s the front wheels rotate more freely. Both cars were awesome and both had pros and cons as do all the cars I drive. Opinions are just that and it’s one persons preference and perspective of the car they are driving. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have 👍

Conditions are relevant if one car is less affected. For instance if one has less power but more grip it will lose out less in the wet.

Aditya krishna totally agree the m2 is fun. The m4 is better for doing perfect traction laptimes. Then the price is way less expensive and the cars all today get bigger and bigger the m2 is just the right size for fun drifting as it’s not as big as a couch landscape ;)

The M2 comp produce 405 bhp (410ps) but some are showing over 420 bhp standard on a dyno - l think Mat would have won that drag race if he had DCT instead of manual - must admit l would struggle to choose which one - l love both of them !! Keep up the good work 👍

Drifting comes naturally, jump in something with an lsd and give it a go, in the wet it's just a matter of knowing how much opposite lock is needed and control the slide with your right foot, practice on track or even in a field, You'd be amazed what you could do in just a few hours of practice.

This is awesome and i love these drag races you guys always do, but i will never understand why you always put manuals up against automatics, it never works out good for the manuals. I remember the first time i personally saw this happening was the M2 vs Mustang video where you ended up using the Manual Mustang and a DCT M2, it's always just that bit nicer seeing a more fair, even race where both cars aren't limited by their ability to shift and rather the rest of the car

The second thing i did with my M4 Competition was an exhaust kit and the PIECE DE RISTANCE wide Michelin PS4s. you can squeeze 295 on rear and 285 on the front. The tires made all the difference for this car and you can finally put the power down.

There's always one bitching about this in every video. The engine actually makes the same power regardless of mode. It just chances noise and response at part throttle, which is irrelevant in a race where it's WOT all the way.
