They have been shit since the hero 3 🤣 I bought a 7 and 8 and returned both because they simply didn’t work at all. Freezing constantly, corrupting footage, overheating and dead pixels. The footage is stil 2nd to none in my opinion but that means nothing if they don’t work reliably

But if you add better brakes, better suspension, tires and an aero kit they're surprisingly agile (due to the low center of gravirty.

If it has that tune on it, and the live map selection, atleast when I had my R35 you would just hold the cruise control switch down and put your foot to the floor and it would hold that speed. Mine would hold the car at like 1 PSI of boost so you had no turbo lag during a rolling race.

The reason is because if you look at the torque/hp curve versus speed, the Model X/S only give the full 1000hp+ after you go past 60-70mph. Below those speeds the Model S/X plaid have limited power. In other words, it is possible to generate a higher g-force accelerating from 60mph instead of 0mph in certain conditions which is wild.

Well, theres a lot of good things with the X, but reliability is horrible, I would choose S Plaid or Y P before the X. And even more so if there will be a Y facelift and possible Plaid/Ludi version soon (as with the 3). Tuned M4 for the weekends. 😊

As for the limiting factors you are on about, that's not here or there. The combustion driven Nissan GTR Nismo has too many limiting factors, not to mention inefficiencies in getting the maximum power from the combustion enginen to the wheels, as opposed to the apparent efficiency of the electric cars, but that will not stop car enthusiasts from wanting to drive said combustion car.

My model 3 has done 60 in around 3 seconds for 2 yrs several times a day. I drove the Plaid about 2 months ago…. And still can’t get my head around how it can accelerate that fast and I’m used to 3 seconds several times a day

@@fruitking6916oh don’t worry I have a C63 as well. I used to be a racing driver and could never not own a car with a V8! However, you will be surprised at how fun the Model 3 “Performance” can be. It’s made me giggle a few times. Also, blasting around country roads you hardly use your brakes as in track mode, the regen braking is so strong it’s like pressing the brake firmly…… but, nothing will compare to a rear wheel drive, howling V8 C63 trying to throw you off the road even in a straight line, or an M3 etc. Also, the Tezzy demolishes the C63 and everything that you see on the road, until about 120

Godzilla's design is timeless! I would take this awesome japanese "muscle car" over the bloated big electric egg from Tesla (or any EV Mercedes makes) all day every day! At 7:17 it does NOT appear that the gap is 0.3 seconds - more like 0.1 second. Not sure about the timing results here.

@@aek.53 good weight balance. No heavy engine up front to force understeer. Masses of toque out of the bends. Then you've got variations in air density to deal with on an ICE. Look at pikes peak. You may think the sound isn't great but it depends what you want to be listening to I guess

30k for a 2019 model S. All that power straight to the wheels without having to travel through any components to get there. Unbeatable value. Souless and plastic. A good car for a paranoid android. The most mind-blowing thought to me is that the Model X might have slightly higher range than this tuned GTR, at this point. *Fact check* The standard specs: GTR Nismo have 390 miles vs. 335 from the Model X. But the GTR is tuned so they might be close.

This is quite hilarious. Now that EVs with their insane acceleration from 0mph or 60mph are completely obliterating internal combustion cars, ICE fans suddenly desperately try to say those metrics don't matter anymore. However, the fact of the matter is that fast acceleration from the traffic lights or for overtaking an 18-wheeler on a road trip etc are still the major performance metrics that matter in the real world for most people. So fossil fans have to fall back on professing love for slow, noisey smelly internal combustion vehicles with their terribly anaemic power band that requires half a dozen gears to get its limited power to the ground for fear of stalling or over-revving the engine. "It's the experience that matters!" :-)

that's just moving the goal post, years ago y'all said that evs are slow, in the past year that has moved to yeah they're quick 0-60 but ICE will catchup in top speed. now y'all just completely given up, and this is coming from a car guy, but ice car companies have really stagnated and had very little improvement. the only 2 I can say haven't done that is Koeningsegg and Dodge

It’s been around well over 100 years and up until this point oil cartels have been able to milk society out of insane amounts of money to support it but it has now reached its limit. Now their cash cow is slowly going away. I’m looking forward to evolving not staying the same. If we did that there would be no ICE, understand?

And here we are talking aabout a aproper sports car against family high-performance sedan here. The reality is that the Model S can do everything the nismo can but can't be said the same about the opposite which is more important
