CarX Street PC | BEFORE YOU BUY, Review, and UPDATE!!

Before you buy CarX Street PC, maybe you need to watch this video first, basically I was trying to review the game after I got some hours into it, including the latest 1.0.3 update.
The game keeps getting better so far, it's still grindy, but with the latest update the grind is easier, CarX was trying to re-balance the economy which is great.
And they said they're gonna ban the cheaters, but we wouldn't know, so I didn't talk about it.
And I didn't talk about multiplayer either because honestly I haven't tried that feature yet, still trying to build 1 car for each club, and besides, with the cheaters in game, currently I'm not interested.

Honestly, how can you guys cry about grind in this game? It's so damn easy to get cash after economy patch... Making proper drift machine is like 2 hours MAX of casual play on C3-C4 level. You can make atleast 100k in 30mins if you know what to do.

ok now I'm curious and have some questions. I honestly wouldn't use the word "easy" on the current game state, but yes it's "easier". But if by "easy" you meant I could just do races and get money by winning then yes it's "easy", just like ALL the other racing games. Or were you comparing it to other games that are harder? And by "proper in 2h" you meant a car that could R1 all drifts? or a car that could just go sideways as you please? Currently my method of grinding is just do elite races over and over again on C1-C3, so that's like 24 street coins, anything else you wanna add to "what to do?" because if you wanna share a better method I think it will help a lot of players, thank you :)

​​@@KAZWL Learned it from Goosiest, don't want to spoil it but here we go Built a car specifically for drift, don't use grip race events for grinding cash, instead use elite drift race events. Those events are unlocked after completing drift clubs. Drift race events are usually shorter than grip race that takes long distance or multiple laps. Don't do normal drifting, instead use crabwalk technique to make sure getting required points to get Rank 1 and get highest reward. For example if the required the points are 5500, then do crab walk drift and get those large angle(cause giving lots of points) until it reaches points. Once you reached the point, just drive straight to the finish. Also try to mix elite drift races with club drift races. For example after completing elite drift race, there will be 15min cooldown. During that 15min cooldown, do the club drift race event. Once the cooldown is finished, play the elite drift race again, and keep continue this cycle. This is the fastest money grind method i have learned from goosiest and also the fastest afaik. Hope this helps

It feels like they are giving us the taste of hardship and they will surely introduce microtransactions to convert real money into street coins. Desperate content creators will surely spend a lot since the base game is so cheap(19.99)

Absolutely crap game, is a hacker nest, i raced a guy, he teleported to finish line and i lost a car i was working 50 hours in, not recommended, i regret to buy.

honestly I wouldn't say it's crap, game's pretty great imo (aside from some things that I mentioned), but I guess to each their own :) and yes multiplayer/leaderboard currently is a scary place, and I"m sorry for your loss

I mean I don’t like the rating system but I’ve bypassed it by adding small visual bits like interior customization and underglow, in extreme cases I upgrade my suspension, wheels/tires and transmission parts

Hi, this game is brilliant. It is a definitely must buy. The updates have been fixed some of the grind. It is just enough of a grind to make achievements feel well earned. The ai are great. The races in the upper class range are a reel challenge. You have to tune your car to the track you are racing, just upgrading is not a quick fix. I have enjoyed this game more than any other simcade. The physics are great. This review is unfair and does not truly reflect the actual game. Some of the review focuses on negatives that might be the case in the future. Truly a great game. We are want good games, it's funny that when a great game is given to us at a great price, some people like to just give hate. I love this game, top marks Carx. It is nothing like a mobile game.

I agree the game's great, physics great, fair price point, but "brilliant"? "Must buy"? That's VERY HIGHLY debatable, care to explain what you mean? honestly I love seeing feedbacks from people :) The AI WERE NOT great, but it's improved with the 1.0.3 update, but nothing "groundbreaking" or smth. And please do tell more about this "other simcade" you didn't enjoy as much, I mean if you're comfy with it ofc, no pressure :) And honestly by "hate", were you talking about me or somebody else? Cuz honesly I don't this game, I HATE THE RATING SYSTEM. And which part of it that didn't reflect the actual game? cuz obv I played it before making this vid, so I'm confused. And btw have you seen the Lambo on the loading screen? Have you seen it in-game yet? Have you played other CarX mobile games? Do you know what they did to cars that players love? @@KAZWL Hi, thanks for the reply. And I do appreciate content creators. I think my response was aimed at supporting the game as I have enjoyed 80hrs already. When I say brilliant I am comparing it to simcades like Forza, NFS, Grid, Gravel. Brilliant points are, fast transition from race to race, wheel support, cockpit view, physics where tuning is as important as upgrades (you can't just upgrade to win) and how different cars feel, map, online races work well, achiements feel well earned. The comments about how they could destroy the game with changes like micro transaction or pay wall are unfair as you cannot see into the future. The open world map is also great, just because grass is slippy should not really be a negative. The rating system has no real impact on gameplay or clubs. It just lets the competitor online understand other upgrades you may have added to make a fair race. You don't have to use a body kit to increase rating to join club. Any thank you for making content, you did say pinch of salt. All the best Jon.

I see, but still idk why you still said "brilliant" even after you've played all those games. And maybe you haven't tried CarX Online which is their previous game, it's everything you said and with more detailed fine-tuning, but not an open world and only focus on drifting. And honestly where did I say anything about "destroying the game"? Or did you mistake this vid to somebody else's? Honestly I just pointed out about the street coins and how it took me back to CarX Drift Racing 2, because I've played some of their mobile games and I saw similar pattern, which was why I talked about it, which was why I asked about the "unreleased" Lambo and if you've you played their mobile games, cuz you said "IT'S NOTHING LIKE A MOBILE GAME", because I SAW A PATTERN, and worried about it. But ofc hopefully what I've been worrying about won't happen :) And wdym RATING HAS NO REAL IMPACT?? I've literally shown how I wanted to enter a story race with my SX but couldn't because of rating. I had 3 options, changing the look of that SX, upgrade parts with street coins, or build another car. I then went to build an RX7 because it has higher base rating, and I like that car, and I didn't wanna change the look of my SX or spend my street coins that early. Honestly if that doesn't seem like an "impact" to you, then idk what is. And thanks for sharing your perspective :)

@@KAZWL If people do want to buy this game over AI voice then I am sorry all you guys just basically Judge games before you even touch it. This game a huge steal for its price and it is beating TDUSC by a mile and that game is $75 dollars plus. Just put the AI voice there a feature. Getting tired of people crying like a child and bitching over AI at the games playable unlike test drive. Oh I forgot they did 4 major updates to fix the game issues Car x they listen to feed back while others only care for the money so sad and that coming from a multi billion dollar gaming company. Small companies for the win!

My biggest turnoff is its a mobile game . This but with assetto corsa physics would be great
