Cary Elwes Talks Season 3 Of Netflix's "Stranger Things"

It’s 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana, and summer's heating up. School’s out, there’s a brand new mall in town, and the Hawkins crew are on the cusp of adulthood. Romance blossoms and complicates the group’s dynamic, and they’ll have to figure out how to grow up without growing apart. Meanwhile, danger looms. He has a small part on the show but if you're of a certain age like I am then you remember The Princess Bride, Glory, Robin Hood: Men In Tights, Dracula. This man made some of my favorite childhood movies. Salute.

Not to typecast Cary, but as for him playing a superhero, he'd make a good Oliver Queen if you were going to do a "grizzled veteran Oliver Queen" take on the character. Like Affleck playing Batman: a little older, a lot wiser, still capable but looking to train his replacement.
