@alexursu5633 ай бұрын
FNC already spent so much though in 2022, Razork, Wunder, Humanoid, Upset and Hily, that roster must have been insane expensive, wages + buyouts/signings. Carzzy talking about his rookie salary, but rookies in those times coming into LEC would get who knows 200 300 350k/year. Insanely over inflated, if FNC offered him that then that makes a lot of sense.

Nice pro. Guys can you invite Hyli, please? I would love to hear his story. I am a fan of his style no matter what people say. I remember how great he was when he had a great midlaner too. With Caps Hyli was insane - with someone great to follow on time his engages when Hyli ganked mid.
@TheSquirrelbeast3 ай бұрын
I think Hyli holds his teammates hostage. He never adapts and forces people to play around him. It's cool when it works, but when it doesn't and he just keeps trying to brute force it it's just sad. A good chunk of Carzzy's career has been just following Hyli and going down with him.

I think what Carzzy said about the preference for structure vs chaos in game is really important when it comes to team synergy. Because if you have a player or players who want things to follow a set way of playing they will never be able to completely get behind a player who wants to create chaos and unravel the other teams structure in order to win and in the end both sides will be frustrated with each other. Like if you could have a full chaos team with Carzzy, Hilly, Nisqi, Bo and maybe Irrelevant and a coach who will actually enable them and let them run wild while being able to sort of channel their energy in the right direction there would be very few teams in the LEC who could actually keep their gameplan together against them. It would also make for the most fun games to watch because that team could propably throw any lead no matter how big 😄

10:20 I actually have been thinking about this for some time now. we have seen time and time again that how people vibe with one another in the team is just as, if not more important than, individual skill. players should get to know each other before tryouts, talk both about League to see if they have matching opinions, and about life - to see if they can be friends

I related so much to what Carzzy said about Team environments. Something esports managers don't understand is how important is for the players to interact with each other, to hangout with each other, to be friends with each other because that's what open the door to have actual conversations about hard topics about how the game is being play, how the tactics are going, how it gets easier to understand each other point of view and to trust each other moves and game sense. That's how regular sports. You need all this camaraderie to get better. You see a teams like the Denver Nuggets how even if they got a weaker roster they were manage to just outplay and destroy teams with better talent than them based on and i know people say it as a joke "power of friendship". You need that to make the team function quicker and more efficiently. That's why the trust between PG and are important, that's why QB and WR are best friends, QB and TE. SG and Fowards. You need them because else people are just gonna be half way with their ideas living on fear of "Man if i say things right now like i'm thinking i'm gonna break the dynamic of the team and i don't want that" so everybody end up being on No Man's Land where everyone is talking, but nobody is really giving useful information. esports don't really understand the value of having personal relationships between players and staff members
@TheSquirrelbeast3 ай бұрын
I understand what you are saying, but this is small region mentality. Korean and Chinese teams dominate competitive Lol, how much do you think they prioritize vibes? A good team environment helps a lot, but a professional (in any field or sport) needs to be able to perform regardless of if his teammates like to party.
