Casa USA Building the Medical School

A key pillar initiative for the Casa USA vision is the development of a truly faithful Catholic medical school that provides suitable formation for physicians and ancillary medical providers to practice as faithful Catholic professionals in our secular society. The School for the Relief of Suffering, will be a uniquely Catholic medical school in the charism of St. Padre Pio and fully faithful to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. The curriculum will include both the highest quality medical education for our students, and also critical fundamental Catholic components: Catholic medical ethics, the Theology of the Body, the Theology of Life, the Theology of Suffering, and Humanae Vitae.
Clinical rotations to St. Pio’s Casa Hospital in Italy and exchange scientific & clinical lectureships will ensure that students enrolled in our School for the Relief of Suffering fully experience the healing charism of St. Padre Pio first hand.

I have prayed & prayed for a TRUE Catholic Medical School & “Theopathy” to become a Medical Discipline (similar to Allopathic, Osteopathic, etc.). So, we could eventually have our own Medical Licensing Boards (as the other Medical Philosophies do) to protect us from direct persecution from “traditional” Medical Boards. I would attend the School in an instant if you would have me, & perhaps eventually teach down the road. May God Bless this effort richly !!! Such a School … TRULY Catholic … teaching true Catholic Bio-Ethical principles, not intimidating students to be involved in or accept immoral things in care, & recognizing from Whom true healing & guidance comes from… is VITAL !!! It should have happened already, but it IS happening now it seems, & let us pray to God is just the beginning… Since many of our Medical Schools are “Catholic in Name Only,” & the Secular ones are overtly hostile to Christianity, especially employing Faith in care; as it should be !

@@catholichealthcareinternat9672 This is definitely in my deepest prayers. I may have had an amazing literal true Miracle today even in reference to all this. May it Glorify God & healing via Him and us serving as His instruments. More to come !!!
