After that, all music from started to straight up suck. Hip hop turned straight to mumble crap and EDM was just the same pattern of build ups and those repetitive drops (beep boop beep beep beep beep beep beep boop beep boop bop crap). And most music from early 00s weren't that great either. Only 59M views? Wtf this was BIG on Europe, and I remember it being #10 in the US (not huge, but did go Platinum if I recall correctly). Cascada totally deserved way more. This, Pyromania, their Original Me album and Everytime We Touch are just so good.

It's really hard for foreign female artists to break into the American market only a handful have managed to do it. Artists like Adele, Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding, Jessie J, and Florence Welch / + The Machine did it among some others but had major label support and deals in America. UK Indie acts like Marina Diamandis years after her debut managed to gain popularity in the states but the list is pretty small.
