The cascade link makes more sense on coil shocks rather than air shocks. Adding more progression on a progressive shock seems counter intuitive but I suppose to each their own.

Negligible. Maybe 30 grams

hightower with cascade link vs megatower with cascade link? Thoughts? Use for each? I have a stock hightower right now and it was great for the midwest but i need something bigger for out here in the rockies.

With the elimination of the flip chip what does this do to the geo?
@DrJMTB3 жыл бұрын
Same geo as low position regarding BB height.

Was this used along side the Megneg?
@DrJMTB3 жыл бұрын
I tried it both with and without MegNeg. For me, MegNeg makes the Super Deluxe the SHOCK it should be, while the Cascade link makes the Mega the BIKE it should be. That being said, if I could only chose one upgrade, it would be the link every time.

@@DrJMTB Don't they both make the ride more progressive? Are you running both?

$340 I'd change the rear shock. That's crazy all mountain bike products are over priced.
@DrJMTB3 жыл бұрын
Changing the rear shock does nothing to alter the kinematics of the suspension, which really doesn't fix the problem here.
