I am also curious on how you made the cake box. I struggle to get hardy cake boxes that are tall enough for tall cakes. They are so pricey online. This reminds me of Caroline Kennedy's wedding dress! Also, Yes! there are white hydrangeas! Some of mine bloom white, then fade to pink in the autumn. Others start out white, then transition to blue, purple, and finally pink.

Do you have any issues with putting ribbon directly on buttercream where the fat in the butter seeps into the ribbon in places?

Yes sometimes. You can add a strip of grease proof paper on the cake first.
