Yeessss! Digging into more hydraulics... I've been waiting for this. One day you will be digging into the tandem pump. That'll be the day I get my popcorn. One year... One day.. we will have a video. Keep it up Mike!

To clean up rust on a flat surface, I highly recommend carbide scrapers. A few passes will restore the surface to near new condition, unless it's heavily pitted.

I have a 1983 mustang 342 with Eaton motors in it. Several years ago I had noise, and the chain case was filling with hyd. oil, so took the motors off, one had some smashed up parts in it. Replaced the parts and re-sealed both motors. All seemed well. About 5 hrs later, the chain case began filling up again (motor shaft seal leaking). Haven't touched it since. Your videos might inspire me to have another go.

Mike you did an excellent job on this machining. I would caution you to always use layout fluid. I find myself working on projects like this when I am tired or distracted. The layout fluid helps me prevent mistakes by being an obvious indicator.

Can you tell me where to find the case drain for the pedal spool valve for the attachments?
@MikefromMissouriАй бұрын
@@charlestickle3698 hello, there isn’t a case drain for attachments like the newer machines. You would have to plumb one back into the hydraulic tank
