Normally don't like the cheery chatty vibe of podcasts but this one is neither of those and its informative thank you!

I know what you mean. I click quickly off those types too. It's offensive and disrespectful to survivors and others affected by crime. This channel has the mix on all fronts, down perfect.

I love the podcast. I love hearing the AUSTRALIAN accent Makes me feel connected to that part of our world. I have always felt that the people in Australia have a kind of spirit like many in the USA. We are both young countries and there’s an exuberance in the people in both of our glands. I don’t know if I’ll ever make it to Australia , but your podcast brings me a bit closer. God bless us all on this extraordinary planet

I have been on the verge of.telling someone this for years. At the time of the tynong north mutders, my sister was a school tacher in a small two teacher school located somewhere in the middle of that cranbourne, dandenong' berwiçk triangle. I remember.there being some.situation where they almost caught the killer and a taxi driver helped police release a description' something like that. My sister was quite suŕprised how much the police artwork looked like the janitor at her school and felt a little creeped by it. How ever she didnt say anything as she couldnt imagine it could be him. Some time after she heard that he had died during a horse riding accident.

Did she ever inform the police? She could receive a reward or close the case, it could be quite a good thing don't you think that?

Call it in, even now. Even if you’re not your sister. More than once I’ve had no idea about someone and then found out they were guilty of something.

I discovered this programme just recently and I'm hooked. Well researched,executed and narrated. Unfortunately (for me) I knew most of them having watched on crime investigation programme. But still I find it fascinating hearing the story.

It’s brilliant isn’t it and yeah I know a lot of the cases but I’m from Britain 🇬🇧 so don’t know all of them even though I am a true crime addict , never heard of this one for example , it’s an age thing too I’m 40 now so this was when I was about 18 and I got into true crime about age 30 - sorry for the long reply :)

I find it funny (not haha funny) that the police thought the murders of the older women could not be sexually motivated because they were older.
@JW-mo1gr
@JW-mo1gr 3 жыл бұрын
I think the link between the older and younger victims was because the perpetrator sees them as more vunerable there fore would find it harder to fight back.

I mean, I knew a guy that ended up going to prison for raping everything from kids to animals to the women at the old folks home where he worked... Rape and other crimes that are sexual motivated are often about power dynamics, not attraction.
