Drove a magnum for many years, was the best time I had in farming, would sit in the big armchair ploughing 40ac plus a day. Great memories, proper tractor with proper HP

I share your sentiments donkey. As much of a deere guy that I am those old school box car magnums were a hell of a tractor. I cut my teeth on them on my uncle's dairy farm in wisconsin USA and they hold a special place in my heart.

The silage pit was downhill in favour of the tw. Off camera they turned around and the case won.

@@WayneMescal I was driving the TW that day, when we turned them around, they just sat there and neither moved. More to do with the tyres than the tractor, good craic nonetheless

@@78mikehayes Ahh riiight. Someone asked Gareth at a show and he said something along the lines of what I said above. Just what I heard anyway, I didn't ask him myself. The Tw was on smaller tyres too! Very strange...🤔🤷‍♂️

@@WayneMescal More friction with the smaller tyres and tread pattern. Good years on the TW had thinner lugs than the trelleborgs and they were 650 wide as opposed to the 710’s on the Case. Load spread out more on the case so she slipped on the concrete easier. Might have been different if we took them out to a field
