Bro I have definitely sent back some Case knives to get reworked because they showed up crap but man you're complaining about the bolster matching the jigging? That's awesome, that's custom one-off work. It aligns perfectly with the handle scale.

Beautiful knife! Here’s how the Copperlock pattern number breaks down - so obviously the first two numbers are cover material and number of blades, and since the Copperlock is a mix of the full-size trapper(54)and copperhead(49), they kinda mashed the numbers together and got 549. Since the mini is the size of a mini trapper(6207) they call them 749’s

Wasn't the story that J. Hart was designing a lockback trapper, but the tang design left it needing a copperhead bolster? So it is indeed a trapper with an extended bolster. I love backstories...

Last week, I just did an instore purchase at the Shepherd Hills Store in Branson, MO of a Crimson Bone Peach Seed Jig Stockman (6347 SS). Yes, the covers are beautiful! Yes, my knife has the jig marks on one side of one bolster. I will show my knife (along with another purchase) on Knife Delights if I can get Tom away from Junior. Sometimes Junior gets jealous of my knife purchases.

The Copperlock is probably my favorite pattern. I have two large CLs (Kentucky bluegrass and navy blue barnboard) and two Mini CLs (amber peach seed jig bone and a blue denim canvas laminate). I tend to chew my nails, so I like a knife I can pinch open. Awesome video bro.

Beautiful knife, I recently got the 75 stockman in the crimson peach seed. Mine has some white and blue spots on the back edge near the back springs, I don’t mind the spotting adds some uniqueness to it and it’s a user so I don’t really care. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Andrew, personally, i feel that the bolster indentations are defects. I looked at a bunch of pics on Case's website, and none show these indentations. My understanding is that they are caused by the buffering process when the jigging happens to fall under the bolster. In my opinion, the jigging should stop before the bolster to prevent this issue from happening. Recently I purchased a grey pocketworn Barlow from Red Hill that has 3 indentations on both sides. To me that is a major eye sore and I contacted Case to see if they are willing to fix/replace it. Will let you know how they respond....
