Purple is my favorite color and I definitely see the purple hue on the gray scale...maybe they mixed different dyes to get the shade of gray they were going for and some of the dyes separated or bone absorbed them that way....each one is unique...you have some really nice ones...thanks for sharing....Jim

I need to stop finding patterns I love Rusty! I think ive got 5 or six i cannot do without now! Its getting expensive cause ive gotta get them all! Ive slowed on the trappers and mini trapper cause haven' t seen any I need. And ive gotta lot. But Barlows? Copperlocks? 75 Stockmans, Texas Jacks, SowBellys? Im sure im missing a few. Hopefully it is a good investment. But will never be able to part with these gems! 😂👊💥

I love square bolsters. I have yet to get a Texas Jack but always wanted to get one because being bigger than a pen knife. As Terry would say, ain't dat purdy.

Its a great alternative to a mini trapper. But they dont make very many of them. Thank you Karen! I love this knife. Glad they brought it back!

A jack knife is 1 or 2 blades out of the same end. So technically a trapper is a Jack knife. A stockman would not be.

Nice knife. Have you noticed that the 32 pattern looks like a Gunstock pattern 🤔

It kind of has that shape. But does not swell toward the end. This is a really cool jackknife pattern. I hope they come out with the large one again.

@BaxtersBlades I've got a 92 pattern jack. 3 7/8 inches. You should check out the vintage Case's. Some pretty sweet knives.

They hardly ever make these. It's a great pattern, I like these better than the stockman 032. PS I really dig smooth bone with a lot of character. Ya see things in there
