Man you are very lucky to get that one! I was loving the look, front flipper, everything about these when they came out. Very interesting, a modern Case, 20CV is awesome steel and you beat it up, looks like Case did it right! 👍 For what these offer, these are priced very well! I kinda have my collection complete, but i am a knife junky and i really want one of these!!✌️👍

They make a slipjoint version of it I think. As far as upper end knives it's priced fair. It really makes a difference when you get up in those good steels I'm sure it's a dandy . You'll be Carving up one of them wood spirits like Moe makes.That old boy is good.Thanks cornbread

Great review on this one with some real world testing. I've always heard good things about 20cv and it looks like Case has it dialed in with how that one performed for you. I googled this one as watching and for the price compared to other overseas models pretty similar to it seems like a win. Thanks for sharing this!!

That’s a beautiful pocket knife. Im a fan of case knives and the case bridgeline longhouse is a home run for case. The high quality materials case is using make the price very competitive especially being made in the USA. I think Jack wolf knives is going to have some competition with the case bridgeline series. The case bridgeline series is a true USA made knife not a USA company that knives are Chinese made. My money is going to case. For almost half the price of a Chinese made Jack wolf knife Case is my pick. Great video review.

I still love Case as well. But I’m not ordering anymore on line. The last several knives I ordered from Sheppard Hills or Red Hill have been QC nightmares. Case better straighten up their Quality Control or they will be going the way of the dinosaur. All that is keeping them going right now is the name. I would hate to lose an American Icon like Case!!!!

⁠this is why I always put a note with any case stating only send one with centered blades. Period. If they don’t have centered blades I send them back. Most case knives are for display and not real use knives. We all know this. If you want a work knife I always grab a spyderco or a Chinese cheap knife I dont care about. Case slipjoints are really only for collecting. This modern knife does look for real use and why I might get one.

‼️‼️‼️BE CAREFUL BROTHER‼️‼️‼️ Now dont get me wrong i do love my longhouse but they may have a huge flaw. I had mine trying to poke it straight into a big plastic egg my son has wedged into his car seat cup holder and the liner lock failed on mine and it closed right on my finger. Cut me real good. Like should have got medical attention good. I have a video on my channel and i bring it up. Its the very first video on my channel if you would like to check it out.

how hard is it to sharpen that kind of steel? im ordering one on the 1st

It’s not difficult at all . I used a Lansky system the first time I sharpened it. But a regular diamond works fine and a stone is good too . Just takes a little longer.
