Ok. In fairness. As I understand it, this was built without planning permission. I think a fair compromise would be to have Sean pay for an engineer to come out and certify everything. He should've gotten permission, it is unfair to render the man homeless.

You're right, Tipperary a great patriot county. It reminds me of the poem, Éamon an Chnoic from the late 1600s. Éamon was a Tipp man who shot a bailiff dead, who was confiscating a poor widow's cow. Probably for non-payment of rackrent. He was a raparee in the hills with a price on his head. Someone got that reward which ended his life. The council that's evicting Seán is no less barbaric than the system that was in Tipp over 300 years ago.

Corrupt as Hell. The Councils deciding their own laws. The Councilors are elected to run the Council and decide policy, but it looks like the County Manager and engineers have the full say. We need to change that situation and take back control through the Councilors. The whole system needs to change in Ireland. Illegal migrants getting pods erected overnight for them and this man is being hounded by the Council even though he built his own home on his own land and made it blend in with the surroundings. In a mobile home on my own lad and i am still waiting for irish water to connect me 16 weeks waiting ,and the council forcing me to build a house....i use rain water to flush my toilet My neighbour whos a farmer is letting me use there water. The system is a joke
