Case of the backward flow

In this case, the supply pipes from each boiler were cold and the return pipes to each boiler were warm. We thought for sure it was something common to both boilers like an air pocket.

Good catch for a sneaky problem. At our facility we've plumbed the air vent discharge lines down to a floor drain. Once had a vent stick open and we sprayed chilled water all over the mechanical room. That install is CLEAN, by the way. Someone took care to install it properly.

Did anyone notice the way the boiler’s gas piping was installed ? (If so, what’s the problem?) . Always great to watch your videos , keep up the great work. And let’s see if we get some answers on my questions (?) 🤔

I did catch the flue inside the flue I was concerned but saw they installed the flue inside the larger pipe Weird I know

Might as well change that vertical mounted circulator too since they can't be installed with the motor up and it will go bad.
