my baby was diagnosed with VSD with an overriding of aorta when he was two months old, after two months after he was diagnosed (with 2Decho) the murmur was almost soundless and his heart beat starts to slow down, i wish you continue showing videos related to his case ,,,

@@OPENPediatrics the preload of the right ventricle will decrease in knee chest position,because the muscles like soleus will not be able to contract and blood cannot go to right atrium.the femoral vein also will be compressed.How come preload will increase?

My baby’s turned blue the day after getting out of the hospital after labor, started around her mouth and oxygen levels were very low fast like 95 fast and it was not diagnosed. Her Cupid’s bow turns blue and toes or hands at least every other day or 2 times a week.. is it possible she could be having TET Spells I don’t have lot of money to get it figure it out and I am also a young mom and she is my first child so I’m not taken seriously a lot.. please help she is 18months now

Tet Spell, hypercyanotic spells are related to vasodialtion of the the sytemic arteries and increased obsorption of Oxygen to the muscles, causing decreased Oxygen in the blood.

Hypercyanotic spell are caused by a decrase in oxygen in the blood from activities such as running or excercising because the systemic arteries vasodialate drawing more blood in that direction.

The ventricular septal defect allows for oxygenated blood in the left ventricle to "shunt" into the right ventricle. This means the pulmonary artery will be carrying that oxygenated blood as well as the deoxygenated blood from the right atrium. Hope this helps!
