I am thinking of putting in a resin driveway. How has yours held up off the years? I am glad I saw this video. I was planning on making a mess with bond and stone in the driveway. You original driveway looked great.

there is nothing wrong with laying on crazy pav providing all joints have been treated ,the paving was thoroughly jetwashed and any defects were repaired design-a-drive gaurantees their addaset resinbound for 12 years so i can assure you that if any problems arise which is unlikley i will rectify Brett Howell design-a-drive

How long did you mix the resin before you put it in the mixer

If anyone is interested the drive still looks great, and still gets spontaneous compliments, after 2 years of summer sun and winter ice. In the past month it also seems to have withstood four consecutive skips without a mark (The skips were needed for another home improvement project).

My friend had it laid on block paving and it failed big time mainly because the worms in the sand caused settlement all over the place.

Yes Wayne i think they are mad to lay on top of crazy paving as there will be movement and weeds will come threw, it should of had a new concrete or tar macadam base installed first. and to put addagrip name on it to not very good for them. lol

Less lucky with Hamilton Paving who didn't bother to cover it before wheelbarrowing several loads of cement/mortar up it. The spillage looks permanent. I'm not very happy.

Kevin Porter HI KEVIN. great video was the resin an epoxy resin.? i cant see any weeds coming through it as resin is water proof and the thickness would stop it cracking and any week spot that did could be repaired. what was the name of the resin.? and does it smell strong like most resins.? and one more what did you clean the pan mixer with i'm thinking.acetone.?
