Respected Dr Desai, Thanks for your informative video. 1. I heard that if medicines such as Laxmivilas Ras are consumed for a long duration, they can cause poisonous effect. Can this be treated by Neem tablets (prepared from neem stem or bark) and Giloy tablets (prepared from giloy stem) daily? 2. Are there any other herbs that can prevent/cure the poisonous effect? 3. Is blood test for toxic elements good enough to know whether there are any heavy metals or effects of medicines such as Laxmivilas Ras, in the body? Kindly let me know. Best regards.

Sir regarding your question as per my knowledge the ayurvedic herbs or medicines also prescribed for longer duration for the treatment of diseases and they produces significant medicinal effects. The most important thing is the therapeutic dose which prescribed by Ayurvedic doctor to maintain the pharmacokinetics and phamacodynamic of natural drugs. Drugs produced side effect or toxic effect if it is taken in high dose and one more reason that is herb- drug interaction in which two therapies like allopathy and ayurvedic are taken at the same time by the patient. If patient experience the some unwanted effect of drug immediately stop taking of medicine and consult with the doctor.
