I don't love it but I don't hate it. He's a backup goalie and at this point I don't expect to see him in the playoffs, either because Jarry is playing or due to injury. The bigger question is does this force Desmith to alter his playing style? Two years in a row he has injured himself just playing his position. With him being almost, if not, the shortest goalie in the league, his athletic style may not be maintainable.
