Damn. I'm currently playing all DMCs to be able to play this one. Right now, I'm in Ninja Theory's DMC, the last one before reaching V. This video hyped me the hell up. It's awesome! This story finally made me empathize with Nero, the way DMC4 never did. I feel he, here in V, is the perfect culmination of Ninja Theory's Dante, a kid dragged into a fight he never asked for, but he will end it. After all these years of being a Capcom fan, I finally started liking DMC, and it's great!

Devil Trigger is a really interesting song to me. It has twinges of Bury the Light from the rhythms, but it also feels like it has elements of that one Dante song from DMC3 (forgot what it's called but it's the one that plays when he gets Devil Trigger for the first time). This is a good reflection of Nero as a character, who is Vergil's son and arguably has a similar goal in getting power, but he goes about that and life like Dante, choosing the path of a hero. However, this song is distinctly his own because despite his origins, he's very unique from Dante and Vergil. This is my second favorite song in the game (because Bury the Light sweeps) and now that I'm actually thinking about it thanks to this video, I can recognize the brilliance behind this song.
