I know this is just my opinion but to me some of the songs she sings seem to require a less scratchy voice. And the rock songs do for her like This is the Day and Red Like Roses Prt 2 but others that are softer like Cold for example make her sound like she is suffering of a sore throat always. Plus the way that she was introduced to the audience as the lyrical representation of Ruby/Summer it makes it seem like every song is sung from Ruby or Summer's perspective rather than the other characters... Which is why i think Rooster teeth need more singers than just her because it seems they only rely on her and no one else and sometimes its just sounds WEIRD or even BAD!! Its not that she is a bad singer i just know that when it comes to some songs she could use some help or even a replacement for the sake of the song's overall quality. Ya know?

I don't intend to come across as rude, but not being able to dissociate her from Ruby just seems like something you need to deal with and get over on your own, because I wholly disagree with you that she makes some songs sound weird or bad because of the song's point of view character.

@@shadowblade5656 but its more than simply the narrative issue. Though that is a big issue for me still. However its also her harsh sometimes screetchy voice doesnt seem to hit the notes nessecary. And in some cases it doesnt sound like the notes were hit just right making the song sound like its being covered rather than it being the actual OST. So i think it would better if she either got more songs that actually fits her range or get replaced for the song for someone more suitable for the job.

i actually agree, Casey’s voice is naturally more suited for the more opera-type and classical songs, not the rock she is often forced to sing. Casey *is* talented, but there are some things you can’t change. And making her sing rock when it’s not her natural voice quality may damage her voice, so i agree with you on the point that they should hire another singer. (ps i know that they do have another female singer on some of the songs, but only some, majority is Casey) This is why i really like Red Like Roses part 1 and 2. They had Casey and Casey’s mom sing Ruby and Summer’s parts, effectively allowing us to paint the image of them being different people. I would love for Rooster Teeth to bring on a couple more singers to add a bit of freshness and flair to RWBY. As great as Casey’s voice may be, it gets a bit tiresome after hearing it for 6 years, as would be with anyone else.
