Triq if you're going with current lineups then CLG doesn't make any sense, right now their biggest guys would be either cutler of hazed. Pretty weak team tbh. Astralis without Cajun shouldn't be top 5 either though and Echo Fox definitely is now. I would swap astralis/clg with Faze or Godsent (current lineups mean they are within top 15 of hltv rankings)

If fer has been doing BJJ for 10 years then he is either the number one or the number 2 behind Neo. 10 years he's probably a brown belt or a black belt. And other LG members probably have some BJJ background it's fairly common there. I mean size matters but so does experience. So if freakazoid has only weightlifting and no actual martial art experience then he will be at a severe disadvantage against fer even if he is way bigger.

The key to becoming good in these things is consistency. You can only spar hard a few times a week because your body needs time to recover. I mean you can work on the technical stuff but to get real experience you also need the hard sparring. Do you have any idea what you are talking about? Have you ever trained in a practical martial art or in a combat sport? Reason I'm saying practical martial art is that shit like kung-fu or aikido is a lot of smoke and mirrors.

I practice at an affiliate Marcelo Garcia BJJ Gym. Yes, I know. And, to be a high level athlete you spar quite a bit and to develop your game, you need practice almost everyday. Look at those who practice a lot every week vs those who practice a little every week and you will see the difference. One knows exactly what to do because of constant repetition, the other kind of sits and wait for things to happen until they are familiar with what is going on. This why there are much higher level practitioners at the same belt level. What I was saying is that practicing only 1-2 times a week causes you to lose many techniques and it makes it very hard to figure out your own game. Not knowing what to do at specific moments causes you to lose effectiveness. I agreed with you that someone who practices that little every week will be more effective than someone who doesn't train at all. But, versus someone who practices much more they will not be as effective. I don't know where you got the substance to argue, all I did was state a fact. Someone who practices more is much more effective than those who practice a little. Quoting myself, "There would be no time to be a GREAT practitioner with training 1-2 a week." Also, to you saying they will be at a high level isn't really true, depending on who you compare them to, they will be a high level to those who do not practice but to constantly trained athletes they wouldn't be "high level." It's like playing CS for 1-2 times a week at 1-2 hours each time, you'll never be at a high level. (I like to make these comparisons to help illustrate what I am saying). Please try not to be condescending and argumentative when you shouldn't have to be. I made a very simple statement and you acted like I had no idea what I was talking about.
