This video is a perfect example of Casey's ability to tell genuine,personal, stories with subtlety. I watched this video without knowing he was going to win an award at the ceremony. Casey was able to capture the exact feeling of pleasant surprise and post this-is-actually-a-big--deal, I'm humbled by this, realization in his vlog. He did that effortlessly and to the extent that I in no way expected that award until the clip of him explaining on the plane that he won. It worked brilliantly because when he showed the external footage of him going up to receive his prize I felt like a best friend of his: extremely proud to be seeing MY friend receive a prize that he deserved and that we both did not expect. My heart was genuinely warmed by Casey's exceptional ability to tell a story that is both subtle and personal to the extent that you feel like his best friend.

People don't give tips in England, its not a practised custom here. Instead we charge more, and subsequently pay people more. Maybe you might tip if you are feeling generous or feel the service is especially good. But certainly no one expects a tip.

Guess new times are coming... youtubers are getting awards now. I totally agree with Casey on one thing - that you can now self-promote to become a huge star. And that IS amazing.
