So here's casey's current lifestyle in a nutshell: takes a flight to London in first class (ofc) only to live in a fancy paradise-like hotel room, hang around with an olympic gold medalist and with the guy who took the weddingphotos for Kim kardashian and Kanye west, and recieve a GQ award for best media star, and later on fly back to new york in first class, and of course take a helicopter from the airport to manhattan, since he doesn't have time for a slow cab ride. He then finishes the journey from the helicopterpad to his daughter at school on his electric longboard, only to finally get there in time. The rest of the night he spends with his wonderfull family and of course editing his daily footage to make it in to this fantastic piece of content. As always.

it depends i'm british 23 and live in London, and i have to say theres very much an air of classism the permeates throughout England but especially London, where the majority are upper class and are pretty much snobs who look down upon anyone else
@nicktone882468 жыл бұрын
London has its parts, just like any major city. I was there a few years ago and went out and explored the city for two days. I didnt want to stick with just the normal tourist spots. I went to Kensington area, which is the upper class per say. While I was there some guy on his phone bumped into me and then yelled at me. I told him he is the one who bumped into me and not the other way around and he insisted I should have moved for him. I told him since he cant seem to multitask between walking and talking on a phone then he should put the phone away. He then mumbled, "fucking American." At which point i asked him to repeat it louder so I can be sure he said what I thought he said. He just turned and walked away. So no not all are classy. The area I probably found a lot of friendly people in the few areas I visited was Camden.

The UPPER CLASS lounge at Heathrow is great, and the private Upper Class Check. A lot of people hate on Virgin, but I really enjoy them each time I fly, a lot better than British Airways to NYC, Or American, United, Delta ETC. Probably why Delta bought 49% of them.
@MichaelBSteeleAviation8 жыл бұрын
Delta just wanted the slots at LHR since it slot controlled.... But at LHR you are right Virgin is very nice. I do prefer the business class seat on AA's 77W better but for service Virgin is great.
@Whenitraveltheworld8 жыл бұрын
I also prefer the 77W reverse herringbone seats better on AA, but the service on AA is dire compared to VS. Yes LHR is slot controlled, but Delta do not gain control of the slots from Virgin, they are still Virgin slots, Virgin is 51% owner and Delta can't just cancel their flights and replace them with their own metal to service routes.
@amlanray8 жыл бұрын
And then it's me (can only afford economy class)
@MichaelBSteeleAviation8 жыл бұрын
You missed the point, Delta wanted Virgins slots from different US airports and different times which Virgin had. Delta and Virgin did a lot of swaps once it went through. Delta picked which routes it wanted and then switched with Virgin.

It's not illegal in US, but you can get fined from the FAA if you use your footage obtained from your drone for commercial use and i'm pretty sure Casey makes money from this footage. You need to be a certified pilot to use for commercial use.

He's breaking multiple laws in those clips. Just to highlight a few; 1.) flying in a congested area without CAA permission 2.) flying in restricted airspace 3.) flying directly above people/vehicles not under his control 4.) flying for commercial purposes without CAA permission 5.) flying more than 500m from himself 6.) flying without direct line of sight to the drone etc.
@ShaunHusain8 жыл бұрын
CJ Davies Most of those apply in the US as well though we have a height limit 400ft rather than a distance limit, also seems they are a bit lax on the line of sight for fpv pilots so long as they are out in a field or where they are not endangering anyone. Recently watched a vid of a crash from above the clouds which is super dangerous but at least the pilot realized it in hindsight. Flying over populated areas with a toy that has little in the way of failsafes and could harm people is irresponsible regardless of the law (coming from someone who enjoys quadcopters and RC in general)

Solid win Casey. Well deserved. I'm glad the award went to one of the best vloggers I have seen so far on youtube. You commitment to daily video uploads is commendable. I'm glad to see other organizations recognize your hard work. You inspire people to commit toward something and obtain a result. Well done. P.S. what does a chartered helicopter flight run?

Hey CaseyNeistat, I live in London and notice you flew your drone over London. Did you know that you possibly flew in highly restricted airspace and broke quite a very serious criminal law in London? I'm all for drones and fly them myself, but people who fly them in places like that are the reason why we, as drone pilots who are very careful about safety and have liability insurance, have more and more restrictions placed on us because of this. It may ultimately end up in a TOTAL ban on them or worse an air accident. I know you fly in helicopters from time to time and the point is, imagine a drone hitting your rotors because someone was trying to get a nice shot of the city. I'm not trying to bring a downer on the topic at all, or provoke an argument, I though it would be something interesting to hear your views on to try and keep our freedom to fly these things in a safe manor. Love the vlogs. ;) Cant wait to hear your views.
