Shon/Shawn is very cool, but way high energy, and pretty fearless. Only someone like Casey could keep up with him. Shon is very nice, even while he is doing crazed stuff. You are absolutely right, he's not vain or stuck up at all. No, that's definitely the DS1. They came out in late 2015 and I got mine last January. Just upgraded to the EC1 and it's quite amazing. Any gimbal will suck if you don't fully understand how to balance it though. The beholder DS1/EC1 gimbals are nice because the motors are so strong compared to other similar sized gimbals that even if it's poorly balanced it will still work ok sometimes but will eat the batteries working the motors really hard just to keep your camera from flipping. Speaking of which, anyone in NYC want to buy my used DS1? I'll show you how to balance and operate it properly. :)

Also, the GX85 allows you to go one step further by adding some of their electronic in-camera "e-stabilization" to the image, and because it shoots in 4K, you have the option of adding even more stabilization in post if you wanted, without losing much in the way of cropped resolution :)
