New years is celebrated 1/1 and Chinese new year is usually end of January or February (depends when the lunar new years 1/1 is)

That much I understand, but what I don't understand is why they are on different dates? I think that's what confuses me the most. Do you go by a different calendar like the Mayans did? I'm sure I could Google all of this, but I'd rather learn from someone who actually celebrates it in their culture. Yes the lunar calendar! Idk exactly why it’s different haha but I think it has something to do with the moon phases! My mom follows the lunar calendar for Buddhist religious things. But yes we did have a good time celebrating Chinese new year!! ❤️❤️

Not my everyday bank but I use capital one high yields account as well as Ally that allows you to create multiple accounts/buckets and label them. The 100 envelope challenge - I used capital one for that!
