I remember being a kid and making my own scratchy rainbow things. You'd just put down a layer of crayon in whatever color and then go over it super hard with black crayon and then you had a homemade scratchy rainbow thing!

Me too! I used wax crayons and painted with black poster paint over them, I think I got the idea from a kids magazine but it's been ages ago so I may not remember correctly :)

We used to do that too, use wax crayons and than paint over it with a thick black ink (Oost-Indische inkt in Dutch)

Oh yah!!! I remember that too!! If you were super fancy you’d be able to put India ink over top of the crayons. I only was able to do that in grade school. Either way, a lot of fun!!

The “dollar” section of Target had a set of various colors of modeling clay that actually came in resealable bags. I did a single version of that crystal kit in pink. The crystals that grew on the actual rock was garbage, but I scraped all the excess crystals into a glass bottle, and it ended up looking like quartz dust or something. Made for a cute potion looking bottle.

The white air dry clay in Jackie's kit is most likely gloopy because it was likely exposed to hot temperatures during shipping

I bought a couple stuff from Mercari a little while ago. One was a SPECIAL EDITION Draco Malfoy Funko Pop and the other were DRACO STICKERS~!!! I didn't even realize that the sellers had accepted my offers, but I am really happy with my items. It really was super easy and simple.

I've bought so much from dollar tree, even frozen food section and it's all been decent if not great. Especially like their frozen ravioli, jalapeno poppers but especially all of their frozen fruit!

To be fair it's either cheap brand versions of big name foods or even brand name foods. It pretty good stuff. The 1$ boxes of mozzarella sticks you can get at dollar stores are amazing.

Oh! This made me remember Crayola had color change markers back in the 90s. They were one color and then if you drew over them with a "white" one, it changed the color. I totally forgot they even existed until I saw the whole white color change marker in the kit.

That Dollarama sounds more like a Dollar General, than a Dollar Tree. I don't know how prevalent they are across the country (I'm in Vermont, in the US). Everything is just a dollar at a Dollar Tree. Dollar General has things that cost more than a dollar, yet things are much cheaper there than, say, Walmart. Sometimes. And yes I eat the food from both places.

Dollarama is all over Canada. Prices range from under a $1 to $4 but you've probably noticed the price difference in items from watching this channel. There are some Dollar Trees the price is $1.25 on everything. Very few people say Dollarama MOST call them The Dollar Store cuz it's basically that but Canadian style. 😜
