Cash Stuffing - July Paycheck 1 - $660 | Low Income | Sinking Funds & Savings | DieselDollarBudgets

Hi guys, and welcome back to my channel!
We are officially halfway through 2024, so here we are with our first cash stuffing for July!
I hope you guys have been able to save along with me, or at least save something to have for Christmas. The sad thing about being on a low income is that when sudden expenses happen, it can sometimes be hard to keep on top of everything.
The way I see it, every cent that I save is there to be spent in the long run. I have the definite things that I need to save for, such as Karou's training, and then I just try to put as much away as I possibly can. It can be hard, but the way I see it, every little bit helps, so don't feel defeated by comparing your journey to anyone else's, you save what you can afford because in the end, it is only money - nice to have but other things are more important in the long run than the possessions we surround ourselves with

I have a question Do you pay the bills online? The take out the left over income as cash and then do the stuffing? Ive been wanting to try this method but i barely ever have cash on me...ever.

Thank you for your question! I have two bank accounts, my savings which my paycheck is deposited into, and my debit account I have my bills taken out of. I tally all of my bills for the month, rounding them up to the nearest dollar, and then split the cost over the amount of paychecks that I have in the month. So, say my bills total $439 per month, and I have two paychecks that month. That means it would come to $419.50 each pay, so I transfer $420 just to be sure everything is covered. Any extra coin I have at the end of the month, I leave in the debit account to accumulate, so that way I always have something in there and its another way that I save some money. I hope that this makes sense and it helps 🙂

@@DieselDollarBudgets yes I think so? So say eg the income is 800 that week. 420 is moved to debit acc for bills. Then 380 is taken out in cash for stuffing?
