Hello Adriano. Love all your videos. I'm a member of the PII club. I'm Canadian. I need to park USD $ for the next 6 months. Its in a margin account (not registrered). Which ETF would you recommend? 1. would prefer to keep in USD 2. Would prefer to invest in Canadian mkt to avoid the withholding tax if any. I found HISU: do you have a another recommendation?

That kind of video is very hard to do because interest rates , rent in each area and property tax in each area alone are so different and as for all the cost of owning a house will be a lot different depending how old a house is.

Perfect timing. I'm retired and my monthly PI is more than I need so I'm reinvesting each month. I'm planning to buy a place in the next couple of years and since I'm not sure where the market will be I've decided to park more of my PI distributions in cash so I don't risk selling at a loss when I need the money. Like I said, perfect timing !

Just to let you know the banks (e.g. TD Webbroker) forbid you to buy these funds because their rates are much lower. I have been trying for months to buy these money market funds.

@@stephenrutherford All cannot be purchased from TD. I am reluctant to transfer my account to private brokerages as it takes time and unsafe in case of a financial meltdown. These savings etfs are in direct competition with the banks for saving deposits and the bank’s rates are much lower and so they stop you from buying.

There are some newer ETFs that might fit into this category. NEOS has CSHI. Simplify has HIGH. I feel both of these ETFs are interesting. Another ETF that has been around for a while and deals with bonds is SPHY. Neos also has BNDI that deals with bonds.

@@PassiveIncomeInvesting Sorry about that. Some other ETFs that ate similar to JPST and ICSH are SHV, BIL, SGOV, and MINT. These are considered short term bond ETFs. Also, there are floating rate bond ETFs like FLOT, FLRN, FLTR, VRIG, and TFLO. They all seem to perform similar. The short term bond ETFs seem to have dividend yields around 4%, and some of the floating rate bond ETFs seem to have dividend yields around 5%.
