Golden Lamb Inn Tour and Room Review - Historic Lebanon, Ohio

The historic Golden Lamb Inn is the oldest operating inn in Ohio and has hosted many historic luminaries over the years, including Charles Dickens, and twelve American presidents! Period decorated rooms are named after the famous authors and politicians who have stayed at the inn over the last two hundred years for which the inn has been continuously in business.
The Golden Lamb past guests include Harriett Beecher Stowe, Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, Henry Clay, and many other notable people. It is also known for the ghosts who allegedly never left. In fact, employees of the inn claim to see ghosts occasionally peering out the inn windows.
We explore the inn after dark. Later that night, we stay in the Charles Dickens room (one of seventeen period decorated rooms) and sleep in a bed considered to be the "sister" bed of one which currently outfits the Lincoln bedroom at the White House. Do we see ghosts or other chilling visitors peering in the window? Join me to find out.

My mom worked at The Golden Lamb back in the 60s. Her name is Gay King. She wore the long dresses and bonnets waitressing. We lived in South Lebanon on Mary Lane (I believe). My brothers Dennis & Jeff King and I went to the elementary school. Momma would love taking us kids thru the Golden Lamb!

That would have been fun. My uncle Elbert Hall worked there as a boy and ended up a Chef there through the 50’s until the late 60’s. We were always proud of the Golden Lamb as seen through his eyes and experiences.

Very cool, reminds me of a cross between the Boone Tavern in Bera KY and the Ol Talbott Tavern in Bardstown KY, in fact a few of the areas looked identical to places in each of the other Inns. Chris about Peepin, lol. Great job, we will need to stay there sometime. Thanks for sharing.
